“I don’t leave allot of reviews unless I’ve had a significant experience whether it’s good or bad, so I just need to say this place has the upmost BEST customer service I have seen in such a long time! I dealt with Derrick and even though only being there a month I would’ve guessed way longer because he’s knowledgeable and if he didn’t know something he made sure to get the info in a timely manner and his demeanor and customer service was PHENOMENAL to say the least! Pizza Hut PLEASE keep this guy he has such a bright light and loves what he does and wears it on his face! he was patient with my many questions, very polite, held the door for me just all in all i had a great experience and this is my new favorite pizza hut of all time. “We were a party of four and very much enjoyed all of our dinners. This the first time we’ve eaten there and while it is a “pizza” place their entrees were delicious. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was outstanding. They obviously treat their “restaurant” portion of the place with great care and respect. “Update 02/12/24: (Takeout advice. See below). According to Google reviews, I posted the last update in 2022. Unfortunately, Google does not allow multiple reviews from a User so one has to update the initial review. Why this is is a bit of a mystery as one’s views can change over time.I’m happy to say that my opinions on Joey’s hasn’t really changed over time. They still serve the best Pizza in Denver, NC now that their main competitor, Pomodoros, closed. Pomodoros closed not because the food or service was lacking but simply because they could not staff their kitchen. What a terrible commentary on our time.So, where are we today? This update is simply to advise customers that if ordering takeout, no matter the time you specify for pickup or if just ordering ahead, arrive at least 10 minutes before the time you are told the food will be ready.Personally I try to get there a minimum of 15 minutes early and chill at the bar so I can get the food as it comes out of the kitchen. Trust me, if you arrive at the specified pickup time, your food has been cooling for 10 minutes, maybe more.I am not changing my rating but post this as an FYI for those who take heed of reviews.—/////——I’ve written about Joey’s before which would usually rate 4 stars from me. It is my family’s go-to place for pizza, specifically, Grandma’s pizza which is Detroit-style pizza, a rectangular, thick pizza with your choice of toppings, a goodly amount of cheese, and sauce. (Note, try to eat it fresh; it does not hold all that well overnight).But this review is not about the food tonight (skip down 3 paragraphs for why I am giving 5 stars this time) except to say we had the Amberjack special, a wrap, and the usual for my son, a chicken quesadilla.I don’t typically order fish when I go out and on the dinner menu at home, we were supposed to have salmon but Brian L talked me into trying the Amberjack. Go figure.Amberjack is a mild fish, often cut as a thick steak. Tonight’s serving was diced into large cubes with tri-color tortellini, spinach and a creamy garlic and Grand Marnier sauce. Very good so if you go sometime and see it as a dinner special, give it a try.But, I am burying the lead. Tonight’s 5-star rating goes to Brian. This guy is from Brooklyn, Italian, and maybe the best waiter in Denver.Why? He’s engaging, does a great job of explaining dishes, entertainingly served up by his Brooklyn accent, and most importantly, he dutifully clears away empty dishes and the usual litter of stuff from a meal (paper straw sleeves, etc.) WITHOUT being asked.This bears repeating and LISTEN UP every single other server in my little village of Denver, NC: Your normal duty as a server should always include taking away the empty plates and other detritus of a meal. Allowing all this stuff to just pile up and clutter the table during and after the meal is annoying to many and directly impacts my tip to you. Failing in this very traditional act of serving, you are failing as a good server.In my experience, there are a lot of just ok servers in Denver, poorly trained and lacking anything like a professional demeanor. Sure, we have many friendly servers, but very, very few really good ones. And what separates the professional from the friendly are really taking care of your customers which always includes clearing away the table. It is a very small but crucial step, ignored by too many unless asked.I start at 20% and either deduct or add to the tip depending on the overall experience. I am happy to report that Brian’s tip went north.Well done, Brian.“

“In my three visits so far, I have had excellent food and service. The staff provides excellent customer service and they are always welcoming. My family has dietary restrictions and they informed me that we could bring our own cheese for a gluten free/dairy free pizza. It was very good and my family really enjoyed it. Their red sauce is very good. They offer more than just pizza too. I have eaten in the dining room twice and had take out once. “Recently we returned to the Brickhouse Tavern. Previously we had better service and food. During this visit our waitress disappeared for 20 minutes on 2 separate occasions. My wife's baked potato was old and potentially reheated. Her crab cakes were at best a 4 out of 10. My steak was great but honestly we probably won't be returning..atleast anytime soon. “I’ve learned along the way there are 3 components that are the genetic makeup to a restaurant. In no particular order they are: Food, service and location.Food: unique, yet familiar. Pizza is almost always cheese, pepperoni, etc. with maybe a unique crust or sauce. Their menu is well thought out and you can tell some serious “chefiness” was taken into consideration. I’ll leave you with this: GET THE TUPELO HONEY.Service: our server was the most energetic, charismatic and enthusiastic server. She was set on me trying the Tupelo honey and normally I don’t go for sweet but she convinced me it wouldn’t be overpowering. The pie was perfectly balanced with sweet, savory, salty and spicy. Kudos to management for finding someone in this tough labor market who is such a shinning light!Location: Main Street in Downtown Davidson-10/10 Mic drop.Very rarely does a joint hit all 3, but when it does, it’s something very special.“

“What a gem! The wings are delicious and reasonably priced, the piggy sticks are delicious and the pizza is tasty. I love making pizza and I'm actually a bit of a pizza snob. With that said this pizza isn't what I would call top shelf thin crust pizza (which is my personal favorite) but it's great for what it is which is cheap and delicious soft crust heavily loaded pizza.I have two suggestions I'd love to see come true.1. Pleasr bring back wing night at the buffet. I know it's pricy to do all you can eat wings but maybe offer it at a higher price point in addition to the pizza buffet.2. Consider adding a super spicy wing sauce option for the spice heads. If not a ghost pepper sauce at least a mango habanero type sauce. Something with a real kick.Either way I will be back soon!“

“Arrived about five thirty p m on monday. There are two sides to proshitos. They were directing everyone to the right side which contains the bar. It was about eighty percent full. We each ordered our small meals which arrived in a reasonable time. All of the share rings were more than ample and were delicious.Definitely recommend for a nice time out.Parking: It's defined a parking place at that time of night.“

At least one Manager (Scott) remains and, given my recent visit, it is clear that his high standard for cleanliness, food prep and excellent service are still in tract. My favorite pizza is the Prohibition Delight. Their salad and potato bars are wonderful. You have got to try their potato skins... MmmmVegetarian options: Vegetarian Pizza and saladKid-friendliness: They have a game room that sleeps fun while your pizza is in the oven.Wheelchair accessibility: I recommend calling ahead and asking them to reserve a table, as most tables are not easily accessible for those in wheelchairs or for those that stumble easily. “Listen few things are true that I know jets is the best pizza in town, pizza is also my favorite food. Nothing can change your day like a good meal after a long day. Today I had one of those long days. my family decided for Veterans Day to order JETs. was pretty upset when our order did not meet expectations, I promptly went back to let them know what I thought. when I arrived at the store I was already to take my day out on these people let them know how they had ruined my night......I was greeted by a super disarming smiling face who asked what the problem was, I couldn't even be mad I explained in a semi frustrated manner my issue. When I enter to Rocco’s I was met with the most happy environment and most friendly environment I ever seen, the boss over there is one of the most friendly guys in there. “I got a large pizza with onion mushroom and bacon well.... that is what I asked for. I ate 2 pieces. On one piece, I ate 2 pieces on onion, 3 pieces of mushrooms, and no bacon. The other piece, I ate 2 pieces of mushroom and one tiny piece of bacon. My husband had 4 pieces of pizza and noticed he didn't have much toppings either. I will say the pizza was still good, but they lack in putting toppings on the pizza. Oh, and when my husband got the pizza home, they had the pizza cut, and each piece was separated from the others, so most of the cheese had run off the crust on between the pieces. I wish i would've taken a picture when my husband brought it home. I will try it one more time the next time I'm in town. If it's the same, I won't return. I always give a place a second chance.“
