Restaurantji's Siler City recommendations for the finest Mexican cuisine.
“A great restaurant and a great experience. The atmosphere is authentic bit plain. We had Huaraches, Yuca Frita, Papusas, and Empandadas. All were fresh and excellent. The server was very helpful (we don't speak Spanish or know any of the food). And to the folks sitting in the next booth -- THANK YOU SO MUCH for paying in forward!! What a surprise that was!! It's a 45 min. drive for us but we will be back.“
“This place is a hidden gem! They make the best quesabirria, I mean the very best, from the hand made fresh tortillas, to the delicious birria to the fresh toppings and consume it just can't be beat. You've got to try it for yourself!“
“I’m not a local. Was really impressed with the food & service! As the pictures show, I enjoyed the chips, salsa & white sauce that had just the right heat kick. Main dinner was fajita quesadilla Texanas & delicious! I enjoy Pacifico beer with a lime to compliment this type of meal myself, but of course, compliment yours how you wish.Gracious host, waiter was attentive & the cashier pleasant.Only downside was I would’ve preferred to sit at the bar since I was dining alone, but it was being worked on, perhaps updated.“
“I wonder why all the bad reviews. I came here today and went thru the drive-thru. The girl taking my order was very friendly and they were fast. I did modify my order a bit and they didn't put the extra cheese like I asked, but everything was fresh and the shells were super crunchy. I usually go to the Pittsboro location (which needs work) but I'll be driving this way for TB now.“
“This is a great small town Mexican restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and very tentative. I will be going back and trying other dishes. I got the chori pollo and it was delicious. The refried beans were excellent to. Not every Mexican restaurant has good refried beans and I take that into consideration because I really enjoy them. The empanadas was very good as well. I do hope they eventually get beer, I think that would definitely set this little place off. I look forward to going back and trying more dishes.“
“We consistently get great food and good service at the San Felipe in Siler City. I usually get the Chimi Verde which is a vegetarian quesadilla. I love it. Tons of vegetables and cheese sauce on top! SO good! My daughter loves the Shrimp w/ pineapple (I can't remember the name of it) and always asks to come here when she is in town!“
