“Look you going to come here because the food is awesome and it is affordable. You can get two hot dogs small fry and a drink for a little over $5. These days that's awesome deal as you can get. And they have really good hot dogs they're not stingy with the toppings. They have great spring rolls. They got really good lemonade. When you go there, they might be in line but it'll be worth the wait it won't take that long. There's a reason why there's a line. It's cuz the food is awesome”

They have to have at least 50 bottles of top quality, whiskey, and bourbon.the atmosphere is lively fun. They have a patio that has open tables and is a perfect spot to relax. “O my goodness! I was in Smithfield with my daughter looking for a bridal dress we got hungry and I found this place close by. We live an hour away and wanted to take dinner home ( no Italian places near us) so of course I ordered dinner items two Stromboli‘s a lasagna and a sub with a salad and wings We both wanted something to munch on the way home, but we couldn’t decide between the fried mozzarella and the garlic cheesy bread so since we were celebrating finding her dress, we got both. We open them up in the parking lot. They looked and smelled so good so fresh so hot. We sat right there in the parking lot and all you hear was us both saying was Mhmm oooo Mhmm good and we were both pointing to the food lol 10/10 recommend . Now I’m going to have to find a reason to come back to Smithfield on a more regular basis and we haven’t even got to our entrées yet.Lol !”

Shen. was wonderful - friendly, attentive and upbeat., She gave us advice when we had questions, checked back several times to see how we were doing and if we needed anything, and made our visit truly enjoyable.”

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food has always been amazing. My wife tried there taco salad last night. It looked more like cream of mushroom soup. Something went wrong with the portions of ingredients. We showed our waitress. She said “you stirred it to much” The manager came over without us complaining to her and apologized and said she was embarrassed. She heavily discounted the bill to try to make things right. We appreciate that and will definitely return. Our waitress Brenda seemed to insinuate we just wanted free food and drinks. Even though I handed her a 20% cash tip for the un discounted check amount. And told her the food wasn’t her fault. Everything else was great as usual. And the manager made every effort to insure a positive experience. El Barzon is a great place to eat. We highly recommend it.”

“Great views of the airport tarmac and just the outside with large windows. Inside and outside seating was great!! We had a group of 8. Nacho appetizer was phenomenal and my favorite of all I tried. Spinach and artichoke was good but a little bland (a little more seasoning and it could be spot on). Several got salads that they all liked. Several got quesadillas and loved them. One got brisket which was good but cut too thick which made it difficult to bite. I got smoked chicken breast which I did not finish. It was over cooked and very dry. The chicken did have a good smoke flavor that was not over powering. The cheese in my Mac n cheese curdled so was not my fav side. You can't go wrong for the atmosphere. Even though there were a few things I didn't like I will still try again.”

“Came here for the first time with my sister and mom. We are always searching for the best authentic mexican and this place delivered in the biggest way!! We ordered an asada taco, gordita and sope and they were delicious! The steak was so tender. We ordered a side of rice and beans and both were very good! They bring out three different salsas, cabbage and lime for everything. There was a green salsa that was very flavorful without the heat, a medium salsa that was my fave, definitely had some heat that I love and a super spicy one. The aguas frescas and horchata was delicious. You definitely should check the place out! Forgot to get a pic until we were finished?”

“Hidden gem! This place is a nonprofit located inside the medical mall of Smithfield across from the hospital. They use actual eggs on a grill to make breakfast sandwiches (not microwaved). They help people with accessibility by providing jobs and helping adults learn skills for independence. Very friendly staff, lovely baked goods and sandwiches.”

“I gave it 5 stars because of the food. It is very much homestyle mexican cooking with some foods never found hardly anywhere. Foods are fresh and hot. Keep walking if atmosphere is what you need. It is a small cafe. It has a wall menu, a selection of deli style foods are offered with some daily specials. You can sit-in or take out. They have the traditional menu of tacos, carnitas, beans, rice, salsas, baked chicken, Aguas Frescas. After that it's more homestyle cooking like Mexican grandma use to make. I tried out the Chicaronnes en Salas for the 1st time. It was delicious ? I had the Frijoles Charro instead of the refried beans. They were cooked with cilantro, onions, jalapeños to a creamy texture, excellent taste. These are very sweet and sincere people the two times I've been there. It's off the beaten path of mexican restaurant food but worth it.”

“I would highly recommend one location if you ever want the best experience eating at Smithfield chicken and barbecue you would have to come to this pacific location. Make sure you talk to Ms. Woodard and asked for the chicken tender and fries plate. It was amazing meeting such hospitality and cleaning this in that restaurant they have showed that they are way better than any restaurant I’ve ever been to. They put Chick-fil-A in question customer service. they are giving Chick-fil-A a run for their money in the best customer service. I’ll give Smithfield the number one seed.”

She was very professional and personable. She talked to my 3 year old son and talked to us about our dogs. You can tell she loves her job. She truly made mine and my husbands day. She’s a TRUE breath of fresh air! The food was great, and the service was spectacular. 10/10 recommend Arbys as long as she’s there and the food stays the same!
