“Wow!! Came down to Smithfield NC for work and found this place on google. BLOWN AWAY! We arrived 30 mins early before opening and the manager came out and told us we could come in at 10 til opening! We told them we didn’t mind to wait but they insisted! The burgers are so dang good!!! I’ve not had a good burger in so long! This hit the spot! The tater tots were so crispy! The staff were extremely welcoming! Definitely coming back if I’m back in this area!!! 100/10!”

“Literally the most delicious food: every dish, every time! I was first introduced to the penne a la vodka (dangerous!!)…it’s honestly beyond amazing! Return trips led me to try wings, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. You can NOT beat the taste, the price, or the people!! The folks at Sami’s are awesome and you will NOT regret your meal! Not to mention a SUPER clean facility and amazing sanitation score!”

“We live in Kenly but we go over & eat there all the time every thing is delicious hotdogs, HB , FF & homemade soup we love everything we have ever eaten there is great the man that runs it is super nice & friendly a lot of local people eat there DELICIOUS & very clean!!!!!!!”

“O my goodness! I was in Smithfield with my daughter looking for a bridal dress we got hungry and I found this place close by. We live an hour away and wanted to take dinner home ( no Italian places near us) so of course I ordered dinner items two Stromboli‘s a lasagna and a sub with a salad and wings We both wanted something to munch on the way home, but we couldn’t decide between the fried mozzarella and the garlic cheesy bread so since we were celebrating finding her dress, we got both. We open them up in the parking lot. They looked and smelled so good so fresh so hot. We sat right there in the parking lot and all you hear was us both saying was Mhmm oooo Mhmm good and we were both pointing to the food lol 10/10 recommend . Now I’m going to have to find a reason to come back to Smithfield on a more regular basis and we haven’t even got to our entrées yet.Lol !”

“We stopped at the Smithfield Outback on our way home to SC. Tatiana was our waitress. Shen. was wonderful - friendly, attentive and upbeat., She gave us advice when we had questions, checked back several times to see how we were doing and if we needed anything, and made our visit truly enjoyable.”

“Drove from Raleigh to try their famous egg rolls, and they did not disappoint! The egg rolls with the side sauce is delicious. The hot dog all the way was okay, I would have preferred to just eat it with ketchup.”

“Stopped in yesterday for the first time and was bummed they were out of wings. So I went with the brisket quesadilla and pulled pork platter with mac n cheese and baked beans. The food was awesome! I definitely will be back! Selma has a great BBQ spot right downtown. A++++”

It's an absolute must, my wife and I enjoyed their churros but don't take my word for it, try it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed in the food nor the customer service! The owner is an amazing woman of God, LaKia! She believes in serving, helping others and giving back to the community.”

“The hidden gem of Smithfield. This place has it all! The bartenders are quick, accurate and efficient! The selection of beers remarkable! The main reason I go is for the whiskey! They have to have at least 50 bottles of top quality, whiskey, and bourbon.the atmosphere is lively fun. They have a patio that has open tables and is a perfect spot to relax. This is my home from home.”

Alot of tacos places are using the little tortillas now but they make them the good old fashioned way! Great spot to eat in Smithfield”

“Great views of the airport tarmac and just the outside with large windows. Inside and outside seating was great!! We had a group of 8. Nacho appetizer was phenomenal and my favorite of all I tried. Spinach and artichoke was good but a little bland (a little more seasoning and it could be spot on). Several got salads that they all liked. Several got quesadillas and loved them. One got brisket which was good but cut too thick which made it difficult to bite. I got smoked chicken breast which I did not finish. It was over cooked and very dry. The chicken did have a good smoke flavor that was not over powering. The cheese in my Mac n cheese curdled so was not my fav side. You can't go wrong for the atmosphere. Even though there were a few things I didn't like I will still try again.”

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. The food has always been amazing. My wife tried there taco salad last night. It looked more like cream of mushroom soup. Something went wrong with the portions of ingredients. We showed our waitress. She said “you stirred it to much” The manager came over without us complaining to her and apologized and said she was embarrassed. She heavily discounted the bill to try to make things right. We appreciate that and will definitely return. Our waitress Brenda seemed to insinuate we just wanted free food and drinks. Even though I handed her a 20% cash tip for the un discounted check amount. And told her the food wasn’t her fault. Everything else was great as usual. And the manager made every effort to insure a positive experience. El Barzon is a great place to eat. We highly recommend it.”

I had the California Quesadilla and have to say, it was one of the best quesadillas I've had in years, and I'm from Arizona where good Mexican food is plentiful! Fast and friendly staff, easy parking, all around an excellent establishment.”

“On 7/28-25 I went back to Smithfield BBQ in Henderson N.C on Dabney Drive and I spoke with the manager Ms.SeaBrooks she replaced my order that was wrong on Saturday. The order was corrected, the services was fantastic, my hot dog kids meal was great, the food was hot. I appreciate the return response. I also got a call from my management named Darrell appreciate the response.”

It takes like grandma's home cooking. They put plenty of sausage in their gravy, and it looks and tastes like it has been simmered for a while. Yummy!”
