“Excellent and friendly service. A very quaint spot with a horseshoe bar. The tables are close-set suggesting a family atmosphere. The buffalo cauliflower was a great start to our meal. The eggplant was delicious. It had crunch and just enough cheese. The sauce was thick and clinged to the pasta. Their sausage was very flavorful. My wife enjoyed her Linguine Pescatore and commented on the home-made taste of the linguine. The Tiramisu was the only disappointment and the Crème brûlée was 86 at 8:00 pm. The menu is extensive and we'll return to sample more. Many pizzas were being had at the surrounding tables - I'll have to give it a try too. Our bill was $89, with tip, but we sampled a lot since it was our first time.“

“This is the spot. The staff is attentive, excited and eager to assist their customers. However, I am only posting here to talk about their hotdogs. These dogs are incredible. I’ve had Chicago dogs from 20+ spots in Chicago and these are as good or better than most of the in-state Chicago dogs. Their Carolina dogs are the best in state, and it’s not really even close. The venue is out of the limelight, very friendly and proud of their work. The hot, buttery and delicious buns are complimented by the perfect dogs and overly-zealous amount of flavor and additions to their hotdogs. The patio is dog-friendly and a great spot to hang with friends. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. This is an easy 5/5. You guys killed it!“

“The Irish coffee, bacon board, and bacon egg and cheese sandwich were so good. The rest of the party enjoyed their meals as well, like the biscuits and gravy and french toast. We were there for Sunday Brunch for our Mom's birthday. The hosts were very friendly, and so was our waitress, whose name I can't remember; sorry. Will give you a heads up and say that they ONLY serve soft drinks, water, and alcohol. They do not have tea; sweet or unsweetened. They also don't have ketchup, but the dip they give you for your fries is really good, and you won't miss not having the ketchup. Will definitely go back given the chance. Thank you all for a great time.“

“Was in town for one night and a day and a half. Stopped by this Tavern on the way out. Atmosphere was really nice... but I kind of wish the chairs were shorter. It's like climbing up a steep ladder, lol. But other than that, really enjoyed the way it was decorated. The service was super nice, helpful and timely. The food was so good! The French dip was packed with tender meat and the roll was soft, could of been toasted more, but delicious nonetheless. The Aus jus was seasoned to perfection. The steak fries were huge and lightly seasoned. Definitely recommend and would visit again when I'm back in town!“

There are two options the Lao & Bartender's choice. All three were great but be warned, the left two were spicy! the right green one was my favorite. It was delicious! I was only peckish, so I just got the money bags, which are just Crab Rangoon's. Very tasty. The service was great and it's was could be a romantic experience for couples. “I can not rave enough and say enough good things about Mario and his Espresso Martinis! I have had many an espresso martini, and have had many in the triad people “claim” are “the best”. Well in my opinion, Mario’s Espresso Martinis are THE BEST in the triad!!! They’re smooth, delicious, dark (none these creamy, light, bullcrap), and the game changer for me, is that he gets the foam on the top PERFECT and it STAYS the whole drink it doesn’t dissipate at all. Mario himself also just will make your experience here a fantastic one! He’s so personable and his customer service is also as top notch as his Espresso Martinis! Can’t say enough good things! I have a Dram location closer to me in Winston, but I will drive to the Greensboro one, about 50 min from my house to get Mario’s customer service and Espresso Martinis over anywhere closer to me if I have the choice!“

“Westerwood has held a place in my heart for about 13 years. This homey dive always feels like a welcoming spot. While I no longer live in the area, so you couldn't call me a regular anymore, I still love Westerwood. Here you can find friendly bartenders who feel like friends. A variety of draft beers, affordable liquor pricing, and a cooler of cans & bottles. It's very likely you'll be able to find something that hit the drink itch you might have. Over the years it's gotten brighter and cleaner inside but it's still that perfect homey drive. If you're in GSO looking for a bar to call home, don't skip over Westerwood. “Located as the centerpiece of the three best bars not located in downtown Greensboro, all locked together like disfunctional conjoined twins on the corner of the intersection of Elam Ave. and Walker Ave. this is another great watering hole for people who want to be where everybody knows your name (whether you like it or not). But it is like its own little city within the city and the patrons and local residents are like on big family and it is a place that I feel at home in. So if you feel like you are a square peg trying to find into a round hole out there in the other nightlife and social haunts out in the city of lights, ce join us scalawags over here in the corner of misfit toys. You will likely fit right in. Great prices and a great staff ready to facilitate your alcoholic tendencies with a joke and a smile.“

“We came to Rascals for brunch, and I was a bit surprised at how busy they were, so definitely recommend reservations if possible. Upon being seated, we learned that that there were some items no longer available, due to the supply, for example the avocado toast. While disappointed, it was good to see that they tried to avoid food waste and buy fresh ingredients and serve what is available. The prices were extremely reasonable, especially given the portions provided. We placed our order, and I have to say the thing that stood out was the service. Given how crowded and busy it was, there were essentially two primary servers that I could tell, and they were very responsive. Given the size of the restaurant, it's probably reasonably staffed, but still there was definitely a large party of 6 in one table, so even though the restaurant is modest in tables, it was crowded. Regarding the food, I thought it was good, for the price, but nothing special. I got the eggs and biscuit which was good, but fairly basic. I found the biscuit slightly sweet, in contrast to the cheesy eggs. The bacon though was perfection! It's a basic brunch, and a solid place to come for casual brunch.“

“I usually order the same meal and it’s a pick-up order. Everything is great except about 8/10 times they forget my ranch dressing which I ask for and they include on the ticket. It’s maddening!!! Sometimes I look before I leave and sometimes I don’t. It’s SO irritating!! Being a to-go order, I am also forced to tip unless I pay with cash. Once I didn’t hit an option for how much and it automatically charged me the highest amount for a tip. When I eat AT a restaurant, I have always over-tipped because that’s who I am. However, being that I’m required to tip on a to-go order and they almost always forget the ranch, it’s infuriating. Like I’m supposed to drive BACK up there for it.?“

“Went for lunch so take that with a grain of salt. We ordered tossed tenders/sweet potato fries and the French dip/side salad. Fries were hot and good. Daughter said the tenders were great. The side salad was green leafy and not just iceberg and the ranch was homemade so I enjoyed the salad. French dip is my go to at many places. This one was a tad salty, but still enjoyable. Utilize the shared driveway and say hello to the friendlies @Parts Unknown and @The bicycle storeI know the Greensboro music sceneOr did... Before I left west for Colorado for 7 years. That being said, post-party via The Blind Tiger, beat out Suds, share time with the Westwoods and say hello to the folks that could be pulled over from Common Grounds! Host open mics weekly, and bring in a deejay to spin at the pop up markets would be huge! Daniel did an Awesome job hosting all varieties, ethnicities and genders of local artists!
