“First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don’t even like mole sauce, but I couldn’t stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninja finals come to town.“

“OMG I had to work on Christmas and ended up working with a new employee. She was hungry and so was i . I told her to decide where to eat and she chose this restaurant. We had never ordered from here before. Listen this food is the best I've ever tried I'm gonna be hooked for a while I already know. Try it one time I promise they didn't disappoint!“

“One of THE BEST places in GSO for Birria Tacos! My friends and I visited for the first time on National Margarita Day! It was a Vibe! “Had an excellent experience! The food was delicious: the Chicken ACP was great, we tried a new steak dish that had cactus which was great to try, the enchiladas were delicious. Our table chips and salsa were yummy and not too spicy. My house margarita was both tasty and beautiful.
My kid’s kid meal of chicken fingers and fries was actually the big surprise of the order, going above and beyond typical kids meal fare; i typically expect ore ida crinkle cut fries, but instead these gave the impression of being made in house, they were really crispy and delicious, and the chicken was deliciously fried small bites of chicken, not some sad chicken nuggets. My picky kid pronounced it as delicious and ate almost all of it which is a rare win in a restaurant for us!
Our waiter Javier was very helpful and friendly, and a great server! We had a lovely experience and will definitely be back!“

“Our waitress Aryn was amazing, not as amazing as the food though. The coffee, waffles, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and sausage were all made or cooked to perfection. The housemade jelly has the perfect sweetness. Especially for those watching there sugar intake. Enjoyed my experience immensely!“

“The kimchi fried rice with steak was delicious and the portion sizes were outrageous. You can eat off of it for at least three meals. I've ordered from this place about 7 or 8 times over the years. They never disappoint.“

“My recent visit to La bamba was a mixed experience. While the service was excellent—attentive and friendly from start to finish—the food unfortunately fell short of expectations.
I ordered the steak tacos with a side of rice. The most significant issue was the complete lack of flavor. Both the meat and the rice tasted unseasoned, as if no salt or pepper had been used. The meal was simply bland and lacked any depth.
The salsa was equally disappointing. It seemed to consist of nothing more than blended tomato and onion, missing the key spices and herbs that give salsa its vibrant flavor. It was just as bland as the main dish.
Ultimately, while the great service was a positive note, the quality of the food was a dealbreaker for me. Based on this experience, I don't see myself returning in the future.“

“The food is absolutely delicious. When ordering take out during lunch time you may be sitting there for a longer than necessary period of time. They walked right past me with my food when taking it to the register then didn't tell me my food was up there until 10 minutes later. I also dined in about 2 weeks later at a later time around 3pm and food came out quickly still just as delicious.“

“I ate the Taco Tuesdays Special, tacos $1.75 each. The food was awesome, the staff was friendly and always on point with refills, etc. I fully recommend this restaurant, I wish I knew the waitresses name, but she was out of this 🌎 with her skills!“
