“Our family enjoys Sandpiper Bay every time we stay at Ocean Isle Beach. Played Piper and Bay nines this week. The layout is great. The pace was perfect. Greens a bit slow but consistent and to be expected for the summer at the beach. Staff was incredibly kind, from the pro shop to the grill to the ranger on the course. Can't beat the price, $39 a pop in the AM. We will continue to play Sandpiper Bay when in the area!“
“This is Mavericks...best wings in Sunset/Calabash area. Crispy, and juicy! My wife had a burger and it was also very good! I've read some bad reviews but we've never had a bad experience here. I'm not sure how many times it has changed ownership but it's amazing right now!“

“Beautiful inlet view. Food was very good and the staff we encountered were friendly. It’s a busy place we had to wait but it wasn’t bad at all. There was a live band playing outside to listen to while we waited. There’s an elevator to take you upstairs or you can walk the stairs.“
“Beck's lay claim to being one of the originators of the Calabash style shrimp. When compared to their competitors, Beck's easily stands near the top. The lightly battered and quick fried popcorn shrimp produces a fresh and very tasty plate of seafood. Dipped into either their tangy, horseradish flavored cocktail sauce or the pleasing tartar sauce only highlights the tender shrimp. We were given a warm basket of hush puppies w honey butter once we were seated. We added a salad and chose a baked potato in place of the fries for the sides, which were good. However, the bountiful plate of shrimp w Cole slaw could easily have been a meal in itself. Modern decor, plenty of seating, and quick service rounded out our experience. Super glad we paid a visit.“
“This has become one of our go too places. There was a band playing (2 people) and they were really good. Our grandson loves the Mac n cheese bites. You should give it a try. They are right on the water so when it is not cold they have plenty of outside seating.“
“I usually stop in here at lunchtime. Although always busy I never have trouble getting a table fairly quickly. Food is always delicious - especially the housemade chips. Seevice is always attentive but not intrusive. Highly recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: All one floor.“
