“Best shrimp burger ever- did not disappoint after reading all the glowing reviews. The slaw was also delicious. The key lime martini, server’s recommendation was spot on. It was not too sweet and I could taste some coconut too. It was a comfortable, lively pub to enjoy a tasty meal.“

“How they keep return customers, I don't know. We keep trying to have a good experience but have been disappointed almost every time. Parking lot looks like an area trash point, service is slow, food is mediocre (which is OK for a beach bar, if it is consistently good, warm and tasty). We need good restaurants in Sunset Beach, this one has a looong way to go. The food trucks in the park across the street offer a better dining experience, which is sad.“

“We stopped here after our dolphin watching cruise because it was close by and we were starving! Oh my goodness! I’m so glad we stopped. I had the BEST crab cake I have ever had. That’s saying a lot because I’m from Delaware and grew up on seafood. I’m very picky about crab cakes and don’t usually order them. But the description said Maryland style crab cakes so I took a chance. Best choice ever! They were amazing! My husband had the clam strips that was the special of the day and they were also amazing. So many he couldn’t eat them all. We shared a bowl of seafood bisque that was also delicious. Our waitress even split it into 2 bowls for us when we told her we were going to share. Food was served quickly and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend stopping here!“

“Finally was able to visit. Glad we did. A nice cozy atmosphere. We didn't get her name, part owner, she was really nice. Did some wine samples and the Moscato was the best for me. Come to find out the wine I tasted I have been looking for for a long time. Was very happy and paid for 5 bottles. Hubby liked the Rosso Di Montaalcino. They have some outdoor seating and seating inside also. Will return. Nice little gem.“

It was delicious & included iced tea, cups, paper plates, napkins, utensils, bbq sauce, hush puppies, & even salt & pepper…….plus ice. I couldn’t have asked for better food & service…….it was ready at pick-up time & rolled out on a cart with help to load into my car. “I could eat good Chinese food 24x7. I’ve had Chinese food in “Chinatowns” around our country, including San Francisco, and always try carry outs wherever I travel. This is a top 10 carry out location for me. Very good American-Chinese food. I’m glad they don’t use fish stock in their Szechuan. Their Crispy Beef is like a Shredded Beef Szechuan from my favorite Chinese restaurant in Fairfax, VA. To me it’s a must-try. Look forward to many more meals at New China!“

“We arrived early evening on a Tuesday and the place was absolutely slammed. We put her name in for a table and went upstairs for a Tiki drink or two. Drinks were excellent. After we were seated our server, Riley took out drink order and reappeared quickly with water and our drinks. I have the captain’s platter and chose shrimp and clams and Anne ordered the shrimp and grits. Riley had warned us that it’s a large portion, but who knows what that really can be. Well, the food arrived promptly and the shrimp and grits truly was an enormous portion. Enough for two. Was creamy, cheesy, slammed full of shrimp, andouille and mushrooms. My shrimp and clams were lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Frankly, as busy as it was, I was surprised with the speed of service and the quality of the food. Absolutely recommend this place!“
