“Excellent food, reasonable prices, large portions, very good service. We went to El Patron on a busy Friday night. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which was very reasonable for a busy Friday. We were greeted promptly, received our drink order quickly, and our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Our food arrived hot and was exactly how we ordered it. One minor complaint was the queso was very runny and would pretty much drip off of the tortilla chips back into the bowl or onto the table. It tasted fine, but was very thin. Overall, a great experience and we'll be back.“

“If you want your food to be absolutely delicious and don’t mind a few mins wait I recommend going at night around 11-12. Whoever they have working the grill is putting the perfect amount of toppings not skimping on any portions and is doing a wonderful job. The staff is super nice and the service was about a 10 min wait but there were 5 cars in front of me. The fact I got in and out in 10 mins and the food was delicious even after I waited to get home to eat it. 10/10 would recommend, the cheesy potatoes and cheesyGordita crunch slapppppp“

“my close friend owns this stand with his wife and let me tell you this is some of THE BEST Mexican food in slidell. I had a chorizo quesadilla and a chicken burrito today and they were both 100% perfection. no grease, no chinsey amounts, the burrito was fat and full and the quesadilla was full and sealed perfect so nothing fell out. if you want the best then this is where you need to go“

“After traveling for two weeks through 12 states, who would think the best meal of my trip would be the quesabirria at this little Mexican restaurant in Cherokee, NC!?! It was better than the world famous barbq on Beale St in Memphis and the home fried green tomatoes in Mississippi. My server Daniel was amazing y el fue muy paciente con mi mal español.
