“I was so sad when Romeo's closed a couple of years ago! Their cauliflower crust is the best! I recently ordered and there was a glitch with my order. The owner quickly took care of it and the pizza was delish! Super quick delivery too. Thanks for coming back to Wake Forest!“

“Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal. We did not even know this place existed until our friend Doc brought us here after a long day working, and WOW we have seriously been missing out!!! They have unique menu options I honestly haven’t seen anywhere else around here. Anytime I see pork belly on a menu, my husband and I order it because it’s one of our favorite dishes, and this did not disappoint. We got it with the Asian sauce and it was excellent. We also tried the pork rinds with pimento cheese, which is a combo I never would have thought to put together, and it made the PERFECT appetizer. For our meals, we had the Black & Bleu burgers with onion straws, and the whole meal was just perfect. Great balanced flavors, juicy burgers, crispy onion straws everything was cooked exactly right. And our bartender Blake was awesome too. Super nice, helpful, and patient. My husband can be a little annoying with all his bustin’ chops and talkin’ smack 😂 and she handled it like a champ. We will definitely make this a weekly dinner option after work. We will definitely be back! Definitely one of our new favorite spots. TRY IT OUT YALL!!!!“

“We were sat down and the first thing I noticed was our waitress was so shapely. we ordered wings and they had so many choices. I recommend getting one level hotter than you normally would. none of the wings were as hot as the waitress. my wings were good and my friend loved his boneless wings. the only complaint he had was the boneless wings had what I belive were possum bones in it. the food was delicious but I could hardly think with our waitress running around“

“I stopped by this Zaxby’s after a few months away, and overall the experience was still reliably good. The food quality has remained consistent across my visits — my order was correct, served at the right temperature, and presented well, which is something I’ve come to expect from this location. The staff continues to be polite and professional. I wouldn’t call the service exceptional, but it’s consistently acceptable, and everyone stays busy and engaged in their work.
The restaurant was clean throughout my visit. I was there for over an hour catching up with a friend, and the drink station stayed clean the entire time. I also noticed team members wiping down tables whenever they weren’t taking orders, which is always a good sign of solid day‑to‑day upkeep.
There have been a few changes since my last visit. The drive‑thru setup outside has been improved, and traffic flows much better now. Parking has also been adjusted so cars in the drive‑thru aren’t blocking people trying to park. Inside, the seating area has been reworked and brightened up with fresh paint, giving it a nicer overall feel. The only downside was noticing a few cosmetic shortcuts — the booth I sat near had old holes and anchors that were simply painted over instead of properly patched. That feels more like an issue with whoever handled the remodel rather than Zaxby’s itself, but it did stand out. I was also disappointed to see that the Coke Freestyle machine is no longer at the drink station, since that was always a nice perk.
Even with those small misses, this is still a good place to grab a meal and catch up with friends, and I’ll definitely be back again soon.“

“From the warm and enthusiastic welcome to the all important “thank you for coming” Over the falls proved to be over the top. Our server was professional and engaging. He took the time to guide our choices through explanations and recommendations. I had the Pesto Parmesan flatbread with added chicken. It was amazing. The presentation was art and the flavors were oh so good. My husband had the Beef of Weckzel, which is one of the most popular. He raved about it. It was served on a warm pretzel roll with horseradish sauce and a warm au jus. My father in law had a pastrami sandwich which he loved, and my sister in law chose the Cobb salad. It also had an artful presentation. \nThe ambiance was inviting and charming. We will definitely return on our next trip to Wake Forest. A fabulous find. Thank you to the staff.“
