“Stumbled upon Don Julio’s while driving to Raleigh. We were pleasantly surprised by the great food selection and quality of the food. We have gone back multiple times and they have never disappointed! The food tastes amazing, the portions are good sized and the prices are very reasonable. One of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to.“

“Bruma! 👏 Thank you for giving Wake Forest a nice sit-down Mexican spot that still feels comfortable and welcoming.
Compared to some of the other sit-down Mexican restaurants in the area, I think Bruma fills a really nice gap. It’s affordable enough to be a regular family dinner spot, but it doesn’t have a fast-food feel and it’s nice enough that I’d absolutely come back for a date night.
The drink menu was impressive, especially the variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. There really felt like there was something for everyone.
Our service was fantastic! We were checked on frequently and kept updated throughout our meal. I believe our server’s name was Fatima ….definitely ask for her if you go!
The food did take some time to come out, but I’m completely okay with waiting when the food arrives fresh, hot, and tastes GOOD. And it did!
I had the chilaquiles with carne asada, and one thing I noticed after reading some of the earlier reviews: the steak was not thin at all. It was a nice cut of steak, so that may be something they’ve already adjusted based on feedback.
Overall, I think Bruma is a great addition to Wake Forest. We needed another place where you can bring the family, enjoy a good meal and drinks, but still feel like you’re actually going out. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Love this restaurant. Great seating options - inside restaurant, inside bar, semi-outside and fully outside. Excellent options for larger parties as well. Food is always excellent as well as service. We are frequent customers - my favorite spot in Wake Forest.“

“The family that runs the taco truck and store next to it are just so wholesome. I was doing work in the area and ate there for dinner 3 nights in a row and it was delicious every time. To me I thought the prices were really reasonable, and trust me I travel for work all around the US. Def give it a visit if you're in the area.
Edit: Also I want to say the negative reviews they received are very sketchy, definitely looks like it's from friends of rival businesses in the area.“

“Birria Tacos and a Dragon Fruit Margarita
It was an absolute win. The birria tacos were perfectly crisped tortillas soaked in rich, savory consommé, stuffed with tender, fall-apart beef. Every bite was juicy, smoky, and deeply satisfying. The rice on the side was fluffy and seasoned just right, a solid companion to the star of the show.
Dragon fruit margarita was refreshingly sweet-tart, and dangerously smooth. It paired beautifully with the bold flavors of the birria.
If you love authentic Mexican comfort food with a fun, modern twist, this place is a must-try. 🌮🍹“
