“Brought my daughter here for a few games after school and we really enjoyed it. This place has the perfect classic bowling alley vibe for me, it's not overstimulating with loud music and dozens of tvs.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The scorekeeping system actually works well! Easy to get started, set up automatic bumpers per player, and reset pins if needed. The alley was clean and clearly well maintained, I was impressed.

Prices are very reasonable, 3 games plus shoe rental for 2 players was $30.

New Szechuan is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting, not just in Winston-Salem but anywhere! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the incredible aroma of authentic Chinese spices and dishes cooking in the kitchen. It’s enough to make your mouth water before you even sit down.

The food here is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is crafted with such authenticity that it feels like a trip to the heart of China. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every craving—whether you’re a fan of spicy Szechuan specialties or prefer something milder like their stir-fried noodles or dumplings. I highly recommend their Kung Pao Chicken and Ma Po Tofu—absolutely bursting with flavor!

What really stands out is how affordable everything is. You can get a feast for a very reasonable price, which is rare these days for food of this quality. “I go to this establishment to get coffee and to play chess on my tablet, I'll be honest I have never eaten the food, I also go to this establishment to enjoy the eye candy, that's street talk for looking at the beautiful older females. The place is so clean I believe they can possibly past a USA. Marine Corps inspection since I am a old school ex marine from the early 70s. They need a larger restaurant for inquisitive minds while starting the morning off great and unwinding after the work or play day is coming to end. I just love their efforts to be nice and kind and professional to all guest, who knows made one day the may put on their menu those old school grease brown pepper bag of oat meal cookies that many upon many of boys and girls enjoyed in the early years of 1960s 50s 40s and beyond. “Other cookie companies don’t come close. Amazing cookies, easy rewards system and fantastic customer service. I’ve had orders that have been messed up from many places in the age of delivery. I’ve never had a place call me to let me know something was going to be short due to stock. Which is awesome so I’m not let down when I open the bag, AND being refunded for the missing items. On this one and only instance ( we’re a bit of addicts we get them at least once a month order&inperson) the order came more messed up than anticipated. I called, they knew right away it was me they were already in the process of correcting the entire order and re sending it out at no cost to me and I think a refund. Honestly was to excited to listen to the rest ( long day). Anywho got the entire correct order in a timely manner. No attitudes, no back and forth, just good ole fashioned customer service. Which I find to be becoming more and more rare these days. 10/10 recommend. Only a 4 out of 5 because the location can sometimes be difficult to find parking. But where there’s a will there’s a way and there’s always a way when cookies are involved.“

Just a heads up- there are multiple entree options labeled vegan on the lunch menu, but the waiter told me only three are actually vegan: the curry, coconut curry, and tadka. “Kimono’s is my favorite Japanese place around. My go-to is spicy teriyaki steak with udon noodles and zucchini. It really doesn’t get much better.

The staff is always a treat as well, they are always very welcoming!

If you’re in the area and like Japanese food. I recommend giving Kimono’s a shot.“

“It's been a while since visiting Old Salem and Winkler Bakery. It was a beautiful day to walk around Old Salem and visit some of the businesses. Winkler Bakery has a nice selection of merchandise! The staff were friendly and helpful! Looking forward to coming back.

If you are visiting Winston-Salem, stop by Old Salem and tour the museum and historic homes (you will need to purchase a ticket) as well as Winkler Bakery and a couple other businesses.“

“Working in customer service myself I know that bad reviews are a lot more common than good reviews. But I would like to leave a very good review for this location. The entire staff seemed to be very nice and helpful but my only interaction was with Tabitha. I would like to tell the manager, the regional manager and even the franchise owner that you are lucky to have this fabulous lady on your team. Even when traffic slowed down, she did not simply prop up and look at her phone. She started cleaning tables, windows, and restocking. She greeted every diner and asked if everything was OK and if they needed anything. This was a very refreshing experience.“

“First time trying out this location today. I ordered through the app for in store pick up. The order was ready when I arrived. It was lunch time so it was a little busy. The staff was friendly & helpful to navigate me because I did a mobile order and didn’t know what steps to take. They left it yo me to grab my chips a drink. I ordered a 6 inch meal. Chicken bbq but switched out the bbq sauce for sweet teriyaki. I added smashed avocados. I couldn’t taste that much but the other ingredients, pickles, lettuce, onion and all were very tasty. Drink was a fountain drink and the small bag of Doritos were fresh. I’ll order here again“

“I've come here a few times. Once I had to wait in line for my pick up order that had been ready for a while. No one ever put it on the rapid pick up station which really defeats the purpose and the staff wasn't very friendly that day. One of my last visits was quick. My pickup was scheduled for 8 and I walked in at 8:04 as they were putting my pickup on the pickup kiosk. The service was friendly and helpful then. Mixed feelings about this location. I guess it depends on who is working that day.“
