“The rotisserie chicken was moist and seasoned well with a tasty skin on it. It came with a wonderful green dipping sauce.
I was surprised at how good the vegetable sides were. They were perfectly cooked brassicas and carrots which were seasoned well with a mild teriyaki sauce.
The food was served on handy trays with built in sauce holders.
The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Several staff exceeded expectations and they clearly care about their customers and their food.
I hope to come back and enjoy the outdoor seating section one day.“

“I have always loved Grandma Ruby's but now that my homegirl Jana is there, it's always better, you got to go see her because she just makes the place so much better. it was great before. it's just so much better now. not to mention they have amazing food, they always have. it's just a good little country cookin' spot right there on University. if you've never had it, you have to go try it. you will not regret it.“

“We ROTN REVIEWS visited Cin Cin Burger Bar today. I ordered the quinoa salad and we all shared the pretzel bites appetizer—everything was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was amazing, attentive, and so kind. The restaurant itself is spotless, and the atmosphere is on point—the music is PERFECT. “Slappy's Chicken Slaps! The chicken is super crunchy and sauce is out-of-this-world good! It's a perfect mix of BBQ and hot sauce. Slappy's Chicken is the definition of a hidden gem and is worth the wait. This establishment is normally lined out the door and down the sidewalk. The sides are all phenomenal, especially the Mac and cheese.

“Was in Winston until late and looked for a random dim sum restaurant to eat. I got 3 different type of dim sum. Tried the noddle soup because I’ve never seen that type of soup before. It was amazing. Very different type of soup and noddle but it was good. I’m definitely going back. If you haven’t tried this noddle soup dish before. It’s worth a try. Great service too.“

“Born and raised in NC and never visited EL Palenque. I now live in NewYork and come home once a month just to eat here. 10/10 every single time, from the margs to the homemade hot sauce. “Small batch is hands down the best place in Winston-Salem to get a burger and a craft beer.
I’ve lived in Winston for 2+ years, unfortunately, I’ve only known about them for little over a year. They are the most consistent brewery in town, they don’t usually have sours on the menu, but they do offer a Gose, a Ginger Seltzer, blackberry blonde, as well as a house made cocktail menu.
The bartending staff is exceptional! They are knowledgeable about their food and tap offerings and are able to suggest pairings and other combinations you may not have thought of yourself.
10/10 recommend trying small batch at least once, if not 1000 times after that.
Soccer games across the globe are streamed often and usually available on request, along with College FB on saturdays; so the environment is very welcoming for international sports fans throughout the year.
Tuesday is pint night where you get a pint glass per 2 pints drank per person, Wednesday is trivia, Thursday half price pours ($3 16oz craft beers) and my favorite by far is Friday Karaoke!
Also: Met Rick Flair here. It was cool lol. That said, sometimes they can busy if there are conventions in town since they are close to the convention center, but even with a wait they’re always worth it!“

“Burgers, steaks, and teriyaki chicken cooked to perfection; I l like mine medium. Service was courteous, attentive and helpful. The outdoor atmosphere is comfortable like your rear deck and unique. All in all I recommend this place if you are trying to impress someone or just talking out that special someone. A little high but worth it.“

“I asked for what everyone has been taking about, The Birria Taco's. This was my first experience and it's something I'll reorder. The portion is great, four tacos with a decent amount of juicy, tender and flavourful meat. My order was take out and everything was in the bag, no need of asking for extras, had my sauce, my spoon and extra napkins.
I would definitely will go back and try other dishes.“

“I've been coming to Flower's Bakery for years. The bread is fresh and much less expensive from the grocery. Today, I brought a loaf of Nature's Own SF bread , mini donuts, and a box of snack cakes ($1.50 each). It was less than $5, or about what I would spend for a bread loaf at the grocery. They often have holiday themed items that are hard to find. I saw fruit cake, pumpkin spice donuts, and popcorn balls, to name a few.“

“I really enjoy this brewery. They have plenty of seating inside and although there is no kitchen they make it really easy to order from the restaurant next door. My only complaint is due to the location there isn’t a lot of outdoor space.“

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. We live near Greensboro and drive 30 minutes to get to Monte De-Rey even though there is a Mexican restaurant less than 5 miles from our house.The food, atmosphere and prices are great. Our waiter tonight, Carlos Alexis, is one of the best waiters we have ever had. He made us feel like we were his only customer, he was funny and personable and gave great service. If you have not been to Monte De-Rey you need you need to check it out. You will not be disappointed.“
