“So the tables needed to be wiped but there a few clean ones. That doesn’t bother me. Always give people the benefit of a doubt. Maybe they just had a super busy rush & nobody could wipe them. If it bothers you, just say to the first person you see: Excuse me. Could you get someone out here to clean the tables, please? Easy breezy. They’ll do it. What matters is the sanitation grade. It was a 96 which is good enough for me. The area they were preparing the food was very clean. All the food looked great. The employees weren’t friendly but I don’t care. They weren’t mean either. Just neutral. The girl who rang us up was friendly and nice. Don’t worry about tables with paper items left on them like wrappers. Worry about the kitchen and food. I was impressed enough that I’ll be back!“

“I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants but after visiting Prime, I just had to let others know. First, the restaurant was clean and beautiful inside and out. The staff was friendly and attentive. The line to order was out the door. I guess that should have been my first clue that the service and food was going to be out of this world. They offered cold water to us while we waited in line. This was me and my family’s first time trying this restaurant and they were so patient and answered all our questions on meat and the best options. (Yes, we were those people holding up the line. Sorry!) The young men cutting and preparing the meat were knowledgeable and super nice. I ended up purchasing several items (Brisket, Ribs, House Made Sausage, and Turkey Breast). All I can say is if you are within 100 miles of this place you must make the trip! Your stomach will love you for it!“

“Just stopped at Smithfield’s Chicken ‘n Bar-B-Q in Zebulon, NC & we were so impressed! 👏🏻 The food quality was top-notch & absolutely delicious. We had the BBQ sandwich — mouthwateringly yummy with that signature Eastern Carolina vinegar-based flavor — and the chicken tenders were huge, moist & perfectly seasoned 😋 Our server Charles was outstanding — cheerful, helpful, & super efficient. Great food and great service — what more could you ask for? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Christina and Mr. Savage are top notch employees and very professional. Our church group of 6 eat at the Zebulon location every Wednesday night after church just because of the amazing service we get from Christina. She is by far the hardest working girl that I have ever seen in any restaurant.“

“Really enjoyed the brisket nachos- solid flavor everytime. The quesadillas are huge! We also ordered the guac this time (usually go for the chips & queso) and while it tasted fresh it was missing the heat factor I’m used to. Be aware- there are no open restrooms! When we asked where we could wash hands/ change our baby’s diaper we were told to go across the street to the public park restrooms.“

“We went Valentine’s Night. Every where had over an hour wait, we got here and my party of 6 was seated immediately! Our server was amazing! And the food was outstanding! They had a limited menu for valentines night so we will definitely go back on another night to try more items!“
