Brooklyn Pizza makes better pizza than all but one of the pizza places in my hometown of Kingston, NY - and it ties the best place in Kingston.

“Came to Hickory Tavern for the first time tonight and all I can say is Wow, my expectations were exceeded. The food was delicious and our server Kara was amazing, she did a great job. She was very sweet and attentive and able to answer all of our questions. She suggested the spinach dip and it was so good we ended up getting a second one …. LOL. I also got the Chicken & Rice, my husband the Pow Pow shrimp. Sooo good, 12/10. We will definitely be coming back soon and requesting Kara again as our server. Thanks for a great experience, HT!!!”

“I have been to this establishment many times and after the service I received yesterday I wanted to post a review. The staff from management to the employees are beyond my expectations. They do their VERY BEST to ensure every customer is treated with most absolute professionalism. They take great pride and care with their customer service from every sale. If you want amazing quick service, to your catering THIS is the store you need to call. If you have a birthday party, or any sort of engagement that meets quick and easy food this is the place for you. I just wanted to put it out there that this establishment not only has great food, has an enjoyable atmosphere and to top of off their SANITATION rating is exceptional. The first thing I personally always look at is the sanitation score because that means they take great pride and care on making sure the place is clean and up to standards on food safety. Food for thought.”

“Thus little mom and pop authentic Chinese place is perfect and has big portions. Open even on days like Christmas eve. They hustle and they are so nice and respectful. Truly thankfully for a hidden gem.”

“I love eating at Viva Chicken but disappointed at the portions are small compared to Viva Chicken in Charlotte uptown near Novant. I got the Viva Chicken Salad so I had to pay $3.90 extra for the amount of chicken I got in the picture there in addition to the salad. I also got the Naked Peruvian wrap with added $3.90 chicken which was ok but better than the salad. I spent almost $30 for two items. I splurge at times for special occasions but for the amount of chicken I got, I could have gotten a whole rotisserie chicken at Sam's club for a lot more to share with my family of 5.”

“As frequent online ordering, in conjunction with dine in service, my wife and I truly enjoy each and every dining experience at this location. The meals are well seasoned and cooked to perfection. It's great eating healthy food that taste this good. It's also a nice touch to not have a long wait whenever ordering online.
