“I saw this place online and it looked delicious, so I brought the wife for a date night. We ordered the Fried Pork Belly and Cheese Balls for an appetizer, both were amazing. My wife ordered a chicken meal that she said was great and churros for her dessert that she said had the best flavor. I ordered the Brazilian BBQ, which is just a lot of different meats and it was huge and flavorful! We will definitely be back!
I will say the pictures on the menu make the food look alot smaller than it actually is, so be hungry!“

“Popped into this bar for a cocktail while I read for a bit and would highly recommend it. Scott and Fernando were fantastic! As a single woman, they made me feel so comfortable and welcome. They made great cocktails and hooked me up with ordering food from next door to be delivered to the bar. Scott and Fernando really made the experience I'll definitely be back!“

“I'm always amazed at the behavior of kids in restaurants. Parents let their spawn run around the dining room floor at "The Office" at Stonecrest the other night like it was a daycare playground. Advice to the restaurant owners at The Office offering kids specials will be the death of you. We'll be back and hope to see an improvment.
Kid-friendliness: The spawn is allowed to run wild.“

“this places atmosphere was absolutely delightful and thoroughly enjoyable. i had such a great long conversation with the hostesses liz and jane, they were so kind to take the time to ask how everything was and have a nice conversation with us. it makes it such a better experience when the staff actually takes the time to chat with customers. overall great experience!!“

“Amber so friendly and efficient ! My bf had been before but was my first time ! Fried mushrooms and cold cold beer to start .. then I got the Patty melt and fries ( had to bring half home ) He got the Meatball sub and onion rings but nothing left to bring home ! “Maria and Lauren were amazing! Food was incredible..as usual. Maris somehow got our drinks and food out VERY fast considering how busy they were! Very impressive! Lauren makes some FANTASTIC DRINKS! I recommend the Gunslinger cocktail! If you ever stop by Jekyll in Matthews, ask for Maria as your server and you will be very happy with your experience! Will DEFINITELY RETURN SOON!!!“

“The brunch menu was diverse. I had the crab benedict with a side of potato hash. My daughter had the fried green tomato benedict with fruit. The food was presented well, delicious, and the portions were reasonable. I will not wait very long to go back as I highly recommend New South Kitchen & Bar for weekend brunch.“

“We had a surprise birthday party for a family member today!! What a great time. We had use of the Queens room, The food was great as usual but I need to bragg especially in our server Jeanette. She was amazing she handled us all with efficiency and grace!! I know we drove her crazy but she was amazing!!!! Thank you John’s place for a wonderful time and again kudos to Jeanette !!!“

“We saw a review of them on TikTok and decided to give them a try. The review was positive but does not do them justice! Got the Pickle Ickle Ickle, The Maddie Rita, the Jordan's Jamboree, and the Butter Pecan Cinnamon Sticks, all were fantastic! We will definitely be ordering from them again.“
“This is always my favorite spot. It's a chill, friendly atmosphere. Bartenders are knowledgeable and know their "regulars" drink preference before they get through the door. If you love to shoot pool, throw darts or just conversate with great people, this is your local "cheers" bar!“

“I have eaten at this particular location in Matthews many times and I have never had anything less AMAZING food!! Even if I'm not hungry for a meal, I'll at least stop by for the queso & chips. “Food and drinks were so amazing , our waiter was extra nice obviously for a tip perfect nothing wrong with that, problems came when it came to paying time our total was $43 and my husband paid with a $100 and we only got back $37 (short $20) and the waiter tried to run to the bathroom after taking off his apron quick (@6 must have been his clock out time) but my husband caught up to him and asked him about the missing $20 the waiter proceeded to pull the $20 OUT OF HIS POCKET and said he “accidentally took an extra $20” plus we never got a receipt so just be sure to check your change ?? again Food and Drinks were great ??“
