“Greek chicken sandwich was absolutely amazing. My husband had the Italian, delicious he said. We asked someone on the street where they would recommend, without hesitation they pointed to Sweet and Savory, said we must try the roasted red pepper soup. We were not disappointed. The wait for food was very well worth it, the reason for the wait, they make it fresh to order. So please be patient with these hard working employees. They are working hard to serve you their heart full of love in food. By the way, the couple who recommended Sweet and Savory, came in for lunch before my husband and I left.“
“Really really great food! Wonderful service. Surprisingly good food for the size of the place. The atmosphere is a bit kitschy. Older booths but comfortable. We had breakfast. Bacon was so perfectly cooked! Great veggie omelet with mushrooms. Green pepper. Tomatoes. Onion. Toast was buttered with (get this) real butter! Lots of jams and jellies right at the table. Quite fast too. I'd like to try them for dinner some day.Kid-friendliness: Very open and friendly.Parking: Large parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
“It is on the more expensive side, but it's worth it! The turkey melt had a tad of a kick to it, so good. Visiting Jefferson while my husband is at a job up the road. I'm thrilled to see drive thru options like this place where the food isn't bathed in grease. The views are amazing. Parked and enjoyed my lunch while the kids napped in the backseat. (Didn't remember to post a review until almost done with my sandwich ?)“
“As previous owners of Southern Scoops and Sandwiches we finally got a chance to stop by to try the New owners Menu.I had the Bang Bang Shrimp that came with fries and slaw it was tasty . My Husband ordered the Chicken Sirachi Sandwich which came with 2 huge pieces of chicken with fries . Which he said was very good. We finished lunch with our favorite Hershey Ice Cream ? Which was spectacular ?“
“I have visited three times and every time the place was busy. The food is standard cafe fare and served on disposable dishes. Try the chocolate gravy if you have never heard of it. It is served with biscuit(s) and is sweet. It is perfect to finish off your savory breakfast dish. There is nothing fancy here, just friendly people who treat you like neighbors. They do not take credit or debit cards.“
“My mother and I had brunch at the Loghouse. Mom ordered a chicken biscuit and I ordered a BLT. When our order came out, Mom had two biscuits because the HOMEMADE biscuits were smaller than usual that day and they wanted to ensure that Mom received what they've established as their norm. The service was second to none, they treated us like family and the food was nicely proportioned and delicious! As a bonus, Loghouse also has outdoor seating!Well done, Loghouse! Keep up the great service.Parking: Parking lot overlooking creek across the road. Also have covered outdoor seating!“
“Literally the BEST restaurant in Ashe Co - a MUST visit!!! Consistently great food and great service. My only complaint is that they're only open during the weekends, but I can appreciate a restaurant owner that chooses personal time over chasing a dollar.“
