“I love going to Betty’s Biscuits! It has become one of my favorite places to go while in downtown Boone. The service has always been fabulous, I love the vibe, and the food is delicious. A great spot to meet up with friends or bring the family for a memorable outing! 💛“

“I usually don’t write reviews because…oh, well…time, life…but for Local Lion coffee shop I want to do it because it’s one of the places that truly deserves all the praises. Me and my family are not doughnut fans by any means, we eat a doughnut maybe once a year. We are coffee lovers though (me and my husband, not the kids, lol). However, I got a craving of a doughnut and decided to look for a place that has doughnuts, while being in vacation (we live in Charlotte but we were visiting Blowing Rock/Boone area recently) and found Local Lion on the map. I am so glad I did! The coffee was good, we also bought some custom tea blends from them that are exquisite and the doughnuts were excellent. Something so delicious…I will be dreaming of them for a while and I will definitely go back. Plus the kindness of the people working there…everything makes that place worth checking it out. They didn’t sponsored me or nothing, it’s just a happy customer review.“

“This organization is doing AMAZING things for the Boone community - from reducing food waste and providing anyone who needs it a meal (which, BTW, is delicious and creative - something you might expect to find at a fancy restaurant) to providing the perfect setting for genuine, neighbor-to-neighbor meaningful connections. I highly recommend making this your go-to lunch spot, volunteering your time (or a few dollars if you're able), and spreading the word about what this incredible, selfless team is doing. “We ate lunch with our friend here today. We sat on the patio with our German Shepherd. The staff was so friendly. The drinks and food were amazing. My gf is gluten free and she really loved the menu. My sweet potato enchilada was so delicious. We can’t wait to come back the next time we are in town:)“

“Outstanding Service at Panera Bread

I had such a great experience at Panera Bread thanks to their amazing customer service. I had placed a to-go order and didn’t realize until I made it all the way back to my cabin (quite a drive away!) that my sandwich was missing. I called the store, and Ari, the store manager, was incredibly kind and understanding. Hours later, when I was finally able to return—right as the store was closing. Krist, who was the customer service representative that night, made me a fresh sandwich without any hesitation.

It’s rare to find that level of care and attention, especially at closing time, but Ari and Krist really went above and beyond to make things right. The food was fresh and delicious as always, but what really stood out was how much they valued me as a customer. I’ll definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area“

“I wish I had taken more photos. This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had… and the other two we got were just as good! I highly recommend Say Cheese! Stop by and grab a sandwich and you won’t regret it! Can’t wait to go back!“
