“We live just north of the village and come here often. Love Yellow Mug! Order at the counter, find a table indoors or out, they will find you when your food is ready. Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“I mean where do I even start. This place is heaven on earth. Amazing food. The chicken salad is the best I’ve ever had. I love the turkey pretzel sandwich. And don’t even get me started on the Italian ciabatta. The bakery items are insane. I have yet to order something I didn’t like. Nothing is super sweet which is sooo nice. I hate when a desert tastes like straight sugar. You can actually taste the different flavors that are in each items. Wonderful service as well. Over all 10/10!!!!“

“Stopped in while visiting Asheville and it’s such a cool place. Great atmosphere and even greater treats. I had the gluten free chocolate cake and it was fantastic. So let’s text and so rich I had to take my time eating it. My husband got a shaved ice that was like nothing we’d ever had before., so refreshing and fun.“

“Food is fantastic.
You order at the counter and then find a seat. No wait. Server brought it out quickly after we sat down within a few minutes.
Biscuits are large and fresh with a nice crust outside, lite and fluffy inside. I had the classic, 2 eggs, (over easy), fried potatoes (crispy and not greasy),all three meats (country ham — leaner than spiral, more salty, but good! Chopped sausage — tye good kind that looks like a smash burger. Very lean, good mix of herbs and spices. The bacon was lean, thick, crispy). Plate had a radiccio, friesse and radish salad.
Topped it off with a cortada — great meal to start the day.
Nice place in door or outside.
Recommend solidly!“

“I’m a wedding planner and recently worked with 67 Biltmore’s catering team on a wedding. Their sales manager was phenomenal- handling changes and accommodations like a champ throughout the planning process! And their day of team was on top of things - they were so wonderful and helpful and the food was great. I would definitely recommend them!“
“Amazing food, way cheaper than going out and also much healthier! They source almost exclusively from local farms and vendors and mills, and they have a ton of gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options (and also locally sourced meat options). Dinners are roughly $25 for two servings, and you know you're eating healthy and local - very worth it for nights you don't have time to cook but don't want to pay to go out!“

“My husband and I had dinner at Filo for the first time tonight. To say it was amazing is an understatement. The food, drink, and our overall experience rivaled the popular downtown restaurants where we've dined, including James Beard Award nominees and winners. The service was stellar. Filo is a gem in East Asheville. We look forward to dining at Filo again! We hope you will dine there, too!!“

“Highly recommended. I've been a client for many years, and it's about time I tell y'all how good this coffee shop is. Fresh, fresh, and freshest. No bitter or sour after-taste. This is the way coffee is supposed to be! I buy grounds for myself and gifts. I get sandwiches a couple times a week, always tasty, with creative flairs. Sandwiches are under $10, coffee from 3 to 5 bucks, (including tip) depending on what you order. When you go for the first time, if you've got something specific in mind, tell Greg and he will make it for you. Bravo to Greg! Brava to Andi!“

“This morning, I stopped by for a coffee and something to eat after being disappointed with the breakfasts offered by hotel chains.
I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service and an absolutely delicious cup of coffee. The flavor was a bit on the light side for my taste, so I added two extra shots, and it turned out perfect.
The bread was spectacular—fresh, crispy, topped with tomato, full of flavor, and perfectly balanced.
Thank you for offering such a wonderful product and experience!“
“Absolutely lovely business. I’ve been there multiple times a week since the semester started. Everything I’ve tried has been lovely. The teas are amazing must try!“
“Such a great resource for the students, my daughter is excited that all the syrups for flavoring the coffee are sugar cane so she can have fancy coffees. I even had a sugar Dr Pepper, haven't had one of those in years. Deb, who runs the shop, is great and holds her products she serves to a very high standard.
Dietary restrictions: Flavoring syrups for coffee and the sodas are sugar cane.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get into the shop and the doors have button openers but those need a staff or student badge to engage them because it is access to student dorms.“

“There was a wonderful variety of items to choose from, it was difficult to decide. We would have gotten the jalapeño fries and cauliflower tacos but their main frier wasn’t working so we got the chorizo tacos, coconut curry and sweet potato Ruben which came with crispy homemade fries (they have a small frier that was working). We don’t enjoy vegan cheese that is made using Science so we opted for the cashew queso which was absolutely delicious. The tacos were our favorite item. The texture and taste were a solid 10 out of ten. Which made me miss trying the cauliflower tacos even more. The Ruben was our 2nd favorite. I usually have tempeh meat on a Ruben so I couldn’t imagine how they could make sweet potato taste “meaty” but they did. It was so delicious, I will be looking up how to make that “sweet potato meat” at home. The Thai Panang Curry was the only disappointment. It was fresh tasting and the tofu was fried to crispy perfection. It just needed more sauce. I got the Blackberry Ginger Mint mocktail. It was just the right amount of sour and was a beautiful presentation. Our only regret was not leaving room for dessert. If we lived in Asheville we would be regulars at this establishment. Our server was also Excellent! She was attentive without being intrusive. She pre-bussed the table and refilled our water glasses and asked if we needed another round and brought us our food perfectly timed! We went back the next day and had the Tostada Enchilada salad (it’s the choriso taco grown up), the Supreme pizza with no cheese (nice crispy crust and a good amount of sauce), the Amaretto Cherry Cheesecake (absolutely worth going back just for that!) the peanut butter cookie (the only disappointment) and the Lime Aid (perfecly balanced and not too sweet). But I preferred the one yesterday. Another wonderful server. Love this place! Updated from previous review on 2025-03-02“

“I see that the last review of this restaurant was in 2020, so though I don't have a lot to add, I thought I'd submit a more recent review to let people know that this restaurant is still in business and, from my experience there, has not changed much since the previous reviews. Basically, this is a short-order kitchen in a simple setting that serves a variety of breakfast items (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, pancakes, omelettes, etc.) and lunch items (burgers, sandwiches, salads) for relatively low prices, in a simple take-out or small diner setting (with inside and outside seating). I would not describe the cooking as particularly special or delicious (as some have) -- it actually seemed pretty basic, but it seemed to be good quality (other than maybe the coffee) and at very good (low) prices. Overall, if you're in the area and would like a quick, inexpensive breakfast or lunch, it's pretty good.“

“These three employees there are just wonderful. Landon was the person who packaged my order, and he and the person making the sandwiches named “Bri” were very amazing, and my order was packed well with care. So much so that I told the person leading the shift, whose name was surprisingly also Landon that the employees were doing a fantastic job. He was very nice and respectful to me, and very appreciative of the reviews, a hard working gentleman. I don’t come often to Panera because of the price, but the employees here have made my visit special and I will return again. Whoever owns this store, you have done a fantastic job with your employees, and I respect you very much.“
