“Went for lunch to have these Labor Day ribs, started out disappointed. Truly, something went wrong in the kitchen with my rackoribs. I didn't want to be a burden. My wife spoke to our waitress. Barbara, came to me and said, " sir, thank you so much for making us aware, this could've disappointed customers all day." We left happy as usual, stuffed! In the absence of a "certain sick" employee, Barbara and today's staff went the extra mile for me. Good vittles, real staff, mean what they say!“

“My girlfriend and I recently had the best experience at the Craft Bistro. The Lamb Chop appetizer, Mahi Mahi, Salmon and Lobster Bisque Risotto main courses were prepared to absolute perfection. The calming ambiance of the second floor whiskey bar was unexpected and has now become a favorite spot of mine to relax. “Had a mix up and order was really late. Talked to waitress and my gosh they went above and beyond to make things right. Free order of wings and a gift card . Food was amazing . Hands down best burgers in town . Staff goes above and beyond to make your experience special. Highly recommend and my new go to place in west Jefferson. And the wings are really good.“

“Highly recommend a stay here! The drive is beautiful. Park Vista has friendly staff and is accommodating. The room is clean and comfortable. The renovation was very well done and compliments the beautiful scenery in the area. We were attending a wedding at Sky Retreat and Park Vista was a short drive from there. It worked perfectly for us. They had all the amenities you would like in a motel room including coffee that is grown locally and was very good. We didn't get to enjoy the diner but everything else is 5 stars.

“Eating at Boondocks is always wonderful. My parents retired and moved to this area. Whenever we visit them we always end up at Boondocks 2 or 3 times over the course of a long weekend. If it’s just to grab beers and appetizers for a short break between the walking and shopping or for a full meal.

The service is friendly and prompt. The food is always delicious with a great selection of beer and cocktails.“

“I had a 12oz. Steak and I can say, I've been everywhere and ate steak, i put this as the best steak and I will say the best steak, way to go, know other word can describe it, the best steak !!! Further ado i found why this place is the best, the lady owner has been working there for forty years and has owned it for twenty two years, if you would have a steak competition, she would win out against anybody in the state of north carolina period !!!“
