“Delicious barbecue with a great selection of sauces. The sauces are all custom made and were created to go with the different types of smoked meats they offer. From the porch or around the building is a great view of Grandfather Mountain and Beech Mountain. The staff was very friendly, food was fast, and the atmosphere was cozy. Lots of other options (such as sandwiches and burgers) to try at another time!“
“I want to recommend a trusted and legit trader. I use to make little profits on trading options account but when i came in contact with Ralph Carico, i made $8,000 within a week by trading with Him. Mr Ralph Carico is the best on forex/binary options trade, contact Him today and thank me afterwards.“
“This was the best meal/experience I have had in quite some time, possibly ever. We were lucky enough to dine in the cellar and have Sadie as our server. I want to express my gratitude to the chef, staff, and Manager, Jeff who made this a night to remember. Highly recommend the ribeye caps, lamb, and all of the first courses. Bring a big group and share everything! Make sure you request Sadie as your server, her recommendations were spot on.“
“This is an outstanding restaurant. The food is terrific. All made on premise... The chicken fried chicken was the best I've ever had. Big serving for a big guy like me. Not greasy but very tender and moist. The crispy crust was perfect.Wifey enjoyed trout. Said it was tasty. We ordered sourdough bread for an appetizer and it was also great! We ordered a couple adult beveragesAll of this was really affordable. Unusual for a vacation spot but I'm guessing a lot of locals go here soon they're not charging super high pricesThe staff were all so considerate and attentive.I give this place two giant thumbs up.Highlight of my stay in the area outside of the sheer beauty. It even snowed on us in late February.“
“This place was a heaven sent after a treacherous drive. The big lights "beer, music, food, hostel" was exactly what i needed. The mac n cheese is perfection. and the local beer alone is worth the stop. The owners are humble, hardworking folks, who just want you to have a good time. They treated me with the care and safety i craved after a foggy, rainy, and bumping drive.“
“The steak was without doubt one of the best I have ever had. Of course me being me, I forgot to take photos. The steak was near perfect cooked with a sear producing a good crust and an amazing tenderness with much flavor. The pan seared tuna had great flavor but the sauce with it left a bitter taste within my mouth, overall it was good.Charcuterie board had a wide selection. Some of the cheeses were extremely stiff though. All else was good. The drinks and cocktails were all prepared very well. Wine selection was good.Prices vary by menu items greatly, I’d say range per person with apps and meal and drink is ~90-125 for dinner.“
“We were just looking for some breakfast out in the middle of nowhere and ended up here. Thank goodness we did, This place was AMAZING. Made to order food right in front of you in astonishing time. I am a cook so I was amazed at what I was seeing here. Food was incredible, staff as well. This place will be a must have for me every time I go up to the mountains.“
“The location was convenient for us and the food was okay but not particularly memorable. Somehow I missed the grand view. Maybe they had the misfortune of having a neighbor put up a building in the middle of the view which had given the restaurant its name. Also, I've never gotten toast at a restaurant and only gotten one slice of bread. It's the cheapest and simplest thing to get as a breakfast item add on or part of an entree and I've always gotten two slices.“
“Besides the fact that they have the best burgers both beef and veggie, they have a lunch special every day. Absolutely delicious. And don't worry about it being in a pool hall. The owner, Chris, is always there. No smoking, no drinking, no cussing and be careful with the first class equipment. Plus you can eat with your dog on the nice porch.“
“As a regular at Butler Trading Post, I feel compelled to share my experiences at this local treasure. Managed by Kenneth, an Air Force veteran, alongside his wife and their daughter Kali, this family-owned spot has become my favorite for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Butler. For breakfast, the biscuit sandwiches are absolutely spot on. These biscuits are a dream – fluffy, buttery, and light, they make the perfect base for a hearty and delicious sandwich. Whether it's a simple biscuit with butter or a fully loaded breakfast sandwich, each bite is a delightful experience. When lunchtime rolls around, my choice is invariably their bacon double cheeseburger. This burger is a work of art: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and with just the right amount of bacon to add a crunchy, smoky flavor. It's a satisfying meal that never disappoints. The onion rings here deserve a special mention too; they're crispy, golden, and the ideal side dish. And of course, the Italian Stallion pizza – a menu standout with its perfect crust and top-quality ingredients – is something that you absolutely must try. What truly sets Butler Trading Post apart is the atmosphere. Kenneth and his family make everyone feel welcome, creating a friendly and homely environment that complements their fantastic food.In summary, Butler Trading Post is a must-visit for anyone in Butler. Whether you're there for a breakfast biscuit sandwich or a bacon double cheeseburger for lunch, you're in for a treat. It's a place where great food and great people come together to create an unforgettable dining experience.“
“My husband and I have ordered takeout from Carolina Pizza multiple times now and it is amazing every time. I'm not one for reviews but this place absolutely deserves it! We will definitely be dining in next time to enjoy a couple of the beers they offer. Great job ♥️Added some pics of the menu for those of you who haven't seen it.“
“Salad bar is awesome, don't miss the baked potatoes! Understand that everywhere is short staffed these days, so expect kind, helpful, slow-service. We were there 2 hours total, we probably waited 20-30 mins to be seated then about an hour for food to come out for a party of 8. They're doing their best with what they have. We'd go back when in town again.“
“Food was superb. Drinks were great. Bananas Fosters Flambe and Cherries Jubilee Flambe as well as the Brownie ice cream Fambe for dessert were unbelievable. Basically, they KNOCK IT OUT OF THE BALLPARK ON ALL ASPECTS. THE RAINSParking: Plenty of parking“
“The food is about the average of any paid admission museum/park. The staff is what made it worth it. They were so nice and patient with every customer we saw. The fudge is amazing! Nestled in the Wilson center, Mildred's grill had so many things to see and do. We loved visiting.“
“We visit beech mountain every year. We love the grocery store - it has everything we need during our stay and absolutely love their deli. The food is awesome, the service is great, prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back next year.“
