Donuts in West Jefferson, NC

“I have nothing negative to say. I heard about the place on facebook and started sending my wife pictures of the doughnuts a month or more ago. Yesterday we drove up from Statesville finally!

There was a helpful employee at the counter who didn’t rush us as we discussed what we wanted. The decor and environment was nice. Zero complaints.

We took our four doughnuts and one apple fritter home with us. My wife says her chocolate glazed was delicious. Mine probably tasted very good, but I Tasmanian Devil-ed myself through it so quickly I’m not 100%.

I do know the apple fritter I had for breakfast this morning was, hands down, the best apple fritter I’ve ever tasted. Crispy where you want it to be, soft and flavorful where it should be.

10/10 will be back in the future.“
