“For a special occasion last week, we travelled from Durham to Wilmington try this restaurant. We were NOT disappointed and it was so worth the trip! The dishes were all plant-based absolutely delicious. Even if you are normally a carnivore, you will not miss having meat. The restaurant space itself is beautiful and very tasteful and relaxing. All the staff were super friendly and hospitable. Felt like I was saying good-bye to friends when we left. Looking forward to my next trip to Wilmington!“

“we had the pleasure of eating at Junction 421 this evening for a pre-Valentines dinner date I had the steak with mashed potatoes, asparagus, spears, and crab meat and topped with a delicious Bernese sauce . Michael had shrimp and grits and we had a nice, romantic dinner. Evan was our server and he treated us like we were VIPs. Highly recommend this restaurant is so close to our home.“

“We stopped here twice in one day because it was that good. The banana ball was so good and my daughter LOVED their beignets. Their frappe was the best she has ever had. The dirty hippie was my favorite drink. We had to grab one of their donuts as literally just staring at them is mouth watering. “Genevieve was the one who took my order and not only was she super friendly and helped me get the MOST delicious order, I ordered an iced caramel coconut latte (& I don’t even like coconut and it was DELICIOUS) and THE BEST banana bread I’ve ever had but she also was super sweet (she asked to do a double take of my nails!)

This is the first time I’ve been to the east coast and the first stop I made after flying in from Cali and this was the perfect first experience! The whole place is super cute and so cozy and comfy!! If I ever fly out to Wilmington again, I’ll definitely visit again!“

“What is there not to love about this place?! We are in town from NY. We stopped to grab lunch I got the sweet n savory with the house made chips. My daughter got the Mac n cheese and fries. Huge portions of fries were are mouthwatering. My sandwich has so much flavor and blended well together. The Lavender Lemonade is a must and refreshing. We ended up coming back my daughter got the same thing again but with the parm fries. I got the Goat which is AMAZING it was so yummy. The soup was really good too. We plan to visit again before we head home. This is our go to spot the next time we visit Wilmington. This place is a gem. The staff is so friendly. We felt so relaxed and at home here“

The apple pie cinnamon roll was flakey and not overly sweet.

The pancake was HUGE. Added a sign of turkey sausage which was fried just right and the edges over easy!
The yolks were golden yellow.
Didn't have to wait long from ordering to getting our food. Server (s) weren't overbearing, or lacking.

“A family owned restaurant since 2008, Black Sea Grill offers up legitimate Mediterranean flavors in a casual and friendly environment.\n\nAlthough this visit was our first time, it obviously is no secret given every table was full.\n\nThe Appetizer Sampler - Humus, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Eggplant Delight and Falafel, served with Pita bread - was delicious. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and received rave reviews from all participants. (Not pictured due to pace at which everyone dug in!)\n\nDinner choices abound, drawing on traditional favorites and suitable for carnivores, vegetarians, vegans and guests with gluten sensitivities.\n\nA Surf and Turf consisted of Grilled Lamb Chops and Char-Grilled fillet of Mahi Mahi, both grilled expertly and seasoned well.\n\nThe Rainbow Trout (Butterflied North Carolina Trout), was a sizable portion and lightly seasoned.\n\nThe Falafel Dinner were compact and tasty without being dry or crumbling.\n\nKofte - Ground Lamb and Beef mixed together with Mediterranean Herbs & Spices and then Char-grilled - was warmly spiced with a nice char and great consistency.\n\nChicken Kabobs and Chicken & Beef Kabobs were similarly moist yet spiced and grilled nicely.\n\nA compact yet appropriate wine list includes red and white from Kavakildere. The Angora white (made with the Sultana grape) has nice freshness and acidity while displaying citrus aromas and good body. It paired well across the board.\n\nStaff makes you feel at home and un-rushed.“

“If I am having a bad day I immediately go to the Copper Penny and get the 109 Chestnut chicken sandwich. Greatest sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Not only is the food amazing but the staff are amazing. in my opinion, if the staff is good, you know the food’s going to be good!!!! The wait can be long, but wait in that line!!! I cannot stress that enough.You will NOT be disappointed. The only time I’ve ever been disappointed by this place is when they discontinued, the sweet potato fries. But overall, it’s worth the wait and it’s worth the stop 12/10 recommend.“

“I really enjoy the people and the overall atmosphere here. Came to Grinders quite often when I first moved back to Wilmington. However, Grinders has always been on the high end for prices. Just got my first Dirty Chai over 8 dollars in Wilmington! I didn’t mind that it was made iced instead of hot as I requested but the prices are pretty ridiculous for the area. Go to Bespoke or Casablanca, get the same ambience and mucchhh more affordable coffee in my opinion!“

“A cute little neighborhood dig. GREAT locally roasted coffee. Their coldbrew is off the charts. A mix of nostalgia and eclectic novelty makes the perfect cozy, spot for your coffee shop adventures. They have catered local food that is good in a hunch (don’t expect a full food menu there is no kitchen). A wide menu and even beer & wine! I love their outdoor bistro tables on a sunny day.
