It was a great place to sit and get my work done today. I got to meet the owners too Burgess and his wife are real cool people. And I definitely look forward to meeting with them more and doing my own business from there more often!“

“Muddy Creek Cafe in Old Salem is a hidden gem - I feel like it is not as well-known as it should be. Such a cozy, quaint atmosphere with a great menu. Although I'm a frequent visitor, we had an especially nice time taking my mom and grandmother for Mother's Day. We sat outside on the patio with live music - it's an unbeatable location and I'd certainly recommend it to out-of-town guests looking for a unique WS experience.“

The eggs were cooked to perfection, embodying that delicate balance between creamy and fluffy. However, the true star of the show was the thick-cut candied bacon. Each bite offered a sublime combination of smoky, sweet, and savory flavors that left me wanting more. The biscuit and gravy were nothing short of heavenly; the biscuit was light and fluffy, while the gravy was rich and flavorful, providing a comforting hug in every bite. The hashbrowns, generously topped with onions and cheese, were a delightful addition to the meal. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, they were the perfect side dish. Young Cardinal's "build your own grits" option was an unexpected highlight. With an array of fresh and delicious toppings to choose from, this customizable dish catered to my every craving. And let's not forget the fried chicken. Well-seasoned and perfectly fried, it was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. This dish alone is worth a visit. Whether you're stopping by the coffee bar for a quick espresso while you work or sitting down for a leisurely family brunch, Young Cardinal Cafe and Co. offers a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional food. “I stopped in to pick up a Baja Turkey Burger for my Mom. She Loves their Turkey Burgers. Her appetite is poor, since, her Stage 4 Cancer could, no, longer be treated. The treatment caused adverse, effects. My Daughters paid her a visit, during, Christmas of 22 and discovered it on the menu. They purchased it. My Mom Loved it and has desired another, since. Today is a great day for her! Thanks for offering and preparing fresh, farm to table options.“
