“I took my mother and two daughters to eat here today for dinner (04 Aug ‘25) and we had an amazing experience. The staff were so attentive towards us and were so friendly and knowledgeable on the cuisine; we had great conversation with them. I especially loved how they encouraged me to try everything and brought me what I needed to pair it all with. I can’t elaborate more on how amazing everything was, but I encourage everyone else to come in and see for yourself.“

Pecan pie and New York cheesecake seemed of slightly lower caliber (not creamy enough). “We decided to cozy up to the bar for a drink and appetizer before our reservation as we arrived a bit early. The cookie crumble martini was divine and grilled stuffed mushrooms were likely the best appetizer I have ever sampled. Upon being seated for our reservation we were promptly greeted, any menu questions answered and our order was with the kitchen without any delays. Hubby went with the surf and turf with brussel sprouts and was very pleased with his meal. I had the new york strip with mashed potatoes and can say with 100% certainty that the steak was the best I have ever gotten in any restaurant. The ambiance is warm and inviting,the staff is knowledgeable and polished and the food is a shining star in Winston-Salem.“

The only drawback here is that, at the time of writing this, they have no policy or staff training about how to handle a difficult customer. There was a drunk patron... I mean this guy was wasted. He was loud and clueless and was wandering from table to table attempting to strike up conversations with strangers as if he were in a bar. The only problem is that Mizu is not a bar. It's a rather nice Japenese Restaurant. Staff were tiptoeing around this guy and trying to avoid him. Which put a number of sober customers in very uncomfortable situations. This is a shame. I'm sure that Mizu is a perfectly wonderful experience on evenings when they're not serving the town drunk. They need policies and training to handle this kind of thing.“

“I tried the chicken noodle soup to go today to go with left over pizza I had at home, I had had the chicken pot pie soup several times, Its undusual and great with the pastry set on top. But the Chicken Noodle today was over the top.--Lots of Chicken and rich darker broth--not clear. great vegetables and noodles--another reason to say bye bye to Pannerra. Al this served fast and cheefully. and at reasonable priceses.“

“Employees are always nice and attentive. Pizza is usually cooked perfectly but the boneless wings were undercooked and soggy. I understand they sit in the sauce but they were nowhere near crispy and the chicken didn’t feel done. A little disappointed seeing that we order from here at least once a month.“

“My wife and I decided to stop in for our weekly Friday lunch date. We walked in and it was very busy! Customers wait in line to place their orders at the counter. It took just a few minutes which allowed us to look at their menu. My wife decided on the Thai Crunch salad (shredded lettuce, red cabbage, broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, cranberries, pecans, crunchy chow mein noodles and grilled chicken served with oriental dressing and in a fried flour tortilla bowl. She ordered it without mandarin oranges. I chose the Cham sandwich (chicken breast deep fried, ham, provolone cheese served on a hamburger bun with lettuce, tomato and mayo. I ordered mine without the tomato and mayo with a cup of Italian vegetable soup. We then took a seat. The orders are then called by order number, ours took about 10-15 minutes. Everything looked yummy. My wife quickly decided she really liked the salad and said she would definetely order it again. I also thought the soup was yummy but felt the Cham sandwich was just okay. They also have a counter on the far end of the restaurant specifically for their homemade ice cream. We were far too full to try it but will stop in the future! Overall, this was a positive experience and we will be back!“

“I took my son here for his birthday on a Thursday. We were the only ones there which was fine, the staff was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good! My son had the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, and yams. He loved it all and they gave plenty of food. We will definitely be back and I would recommend everyone go try it!“

“The owner and operator of this location, Ross Parrish, is friendly and very active in the community. When he was having this location remodeled to keep up with the high demand of customers he frequently posted on their Facebook page the progress and kept everyone informed of when it would reopen. The staff is always friendly and go above and beyond to be courteous and friendly. The food is always great. The Chick-fil-A ONE mobile app is useful and their rewards program is valuable for regular customers. The only problem I have with the app is that I never receive the updates about free rewards offered by the managers of the locations I frequently visit. I did receive free offers for a year and a half, but haven't received any in over a year now. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still don't receive them. But the rewards program is still valuable for earning rewards for purchases you make. The ability to order in the app and use the mobile drive thru pickup means you don't have to wait as long in line at the drive through as those who don't order ahead of their visit. If you know and love Chick-fil-A food then you will not be disappointed by this location. I prefer Chick-fil-A over Popeyes Chicken, and even though they serve more people at Chick-fil-A the wait time is always less than it takes to get through Popeyes.“

“I love the chick-fil-a sandwich, it's all good, and reasonably priced. I love the people that work for chick-fil-a, not sure where they find all the best people to work there, but what ever they are doing, it's working. Definitely recommend making a visit.“

“Yes, Chick-fil-A has changed, or shall I say their hiring process has changed. My granddaughter put in an application for a cashier's position, during an interview-for- hire event, but was told she was told " they would call her to let her know whether she had gotten the position or not." She was not one of the chosen! You may see 1 or 2 blacks working; and I have yet to see a black operator here in Winston Salem, NC. I also, submitted an application for a kitchen manager position, but received a message via Indeed, "I was not one of the chosen! I have worked for Chick-fil-A for ten years, and have an associate's degree. Where is the diversity, Chick-fil-A? I had the honor of meeting Mr. Truett Cathy before his passing, and he personally thanked each and every employee in the store for our hard work and commitment. His representation and admiration for what matters (equal employment) sticks with me to this day. Moreover, I would rather spend my money where I,we, us, can have equal employment opportunities.“

“Shout out to Rebecca this morning! I had to order 2 large boxes of coffee for a school function. I called the order in to Dunkin Donuts, arrived to pick up the coffee, and they forgot to tell me that they were out of big boxes so they did not prepare my order. All they could say was, "Sorry." I rushed over to Chick-Fil-A and they went right to work on the order. She apologized about how long it would take (12 minutes) to prepare fresh, hot coffee, and said, "Your morning is going to get better starting now!" The coffee was prepared quickly- along with all the condiments bagged up and I was out the door. I was late with the coffee but the teachers seemed excited to receive it and get their day started. “I am a loyal Olive Garden customer. There’s no need to ask where I want to eat because the answer is always Olive Garden lol but I must say this last visit was by far my BEST visit. The food was amazing but the service by far stole the show. Our server Donvelle was the best server I have ever had at ANY restaurant. She was attentive and made sure every aspect of our dining experience was covered the moment we sat down to the moment we walked out. She’s AMAZING! “I didn't like the Zaxby salad that I got. The chicken eas on top with coleslaw slaw then lettuce on bottom. However, they loaded the salad with thick teriyaki sauce. It made everything talk yuck. Won't get it again.
However, my grandson got chicken wings and tenders with fries. I tasted the fries and they were really good as well as a generous amount. He said the chicken was delicious. So I will try it next time.“

“First time I've been back since they rebuilt and I love the new building but the food wasn't that great today, even though there was a line around the building as usual. My favorite go to Chic Fil A is the one in Kernersville. The chicken strips tasted like they kept them heated, not as crispy fresh and the mac and cheese was not as expected. The new layout is easier for drive through and to get in and out of the parking lot.“
