“I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and let me just say—it did not disappoint! I’ve been craving red snapper and had been eyeing this spot for a while, always telling myself I’d stop in one day. Well, today I finally did, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the red snapper meal with macaroni and cheese and pinto beans as my sides. When I tell you I almost bit my darn finger off… that’s how good the food was! Everything was seasoned perfectly, fresh, and full of flavor. That red snapper was divine—cooked just right and bursting with taste. I believe the young lady who helped me was named Kayla (at least that’s what my receipt), and she was absolutely lovely. She greeted me with a warm smile and was genuinely pleasant throughout my visit. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Funny enough, I joked with her and said, “I hope your food isn’t good,” because I knew if it was, I’d be coming back again and again. Well, guess what? I’m out of luck—because that food was so good! “Was there last night we come a lot but only one problem we came to drink and they have no draft beer because they say it broke it been broke over 4 months why isn’t it fix yet this hurt business cause a lot of people like to drink and the bottle beer is more expensive and you don’t get your money worth with bottle when you get draft you feel you are please get it fixed so we can come enjoy a cold one“

“Normally a solid restaurant, but last visit was fairly disappointing. This was the first time I ordered from the brunch menu. The bacon was basically candied, which was not my favorite and the deviled eggs with pimento cheese were really salty. The poached eggs in the breakfast bowl were very watery, which was off-putting and the grits were strangely gigantic and super soft, although they tasted good. I'd only ever gotten lunch or dinner there before, so I probably will be sticking with that moving forward instead of the brunch. Important to know that this is an open kitchen, so if you're in the main dining room, it's almost impossible to hear anyone else in your party. If you want to be able to have a conversation, see if there's seating available outside of the main area.“

“We decided to cozy up to the bar for a drink and appetizer before our reservation as we arrived a bit early. The cookie crumble martini was divine and grilled stuffed mushrooms were likely the best appetizer I have ever sampled. Upon being seated for our reservation we were promptly greeted, any menu questions answered and our order was with the kitchen without any delays. Hubby went with the surf and turf with brussel sprouts and was very pleased with his meal. I had the new york strip with mashed potatoes and can say with 100% certainty that the steak was the best I have ever gotten in any restaurant. The ambiance is warm and inviting,the staff is knowledgeable and polished and the food is a shining star in Winston-Salem.“

“Burgers, steaks, and teriyaki chicken cooked to perfection; I l like mine medium. Service was courteous, attentive and helpful. The outdoor atmosphere is comfortable like your rear deck and unique. All in all I recommend this place if you are trying to impress someone or just talking out that special someone. A little high but worth it.“

“We came to the restaurant today, Saturday November 8th. We aren’t from Winston, we are actually from Hickory NC and was in town for a party. I will be honest, we were first going to Texas Roadhouse and a last minute look online I found this place. Upon arrival, I was hesitant because there wasn’t many cars in the parking but I am so glad we went in. We got out of the car and they were playing 94.1 which is what we are listening to in the car. The waitress we had was awesome! She had only been there 6-7 weeks she said but she was amazing. The food was very good, especially the Spinach artichoke dip! 10/10 recommend this place! I am a firm believer in tipping and we made sure to give this waitress the tip she deserved. I wish I knew her name….“

My wife loved the veggie entree and my son had a mixed grill. The menu changes apparently pretty often. Good service too“

“The food! The bread, the salad and my favorites either the Pollo Rosa Maria or the Chicken Marsala.“

“Wings were good a lil salty, the wedges are fresh and hot. For a quick fried food spot you get what you order to go and that's it. Service was fast, they show you the menu and its made to order the place looked ok but its take out. Not sit down and they had groceries around if needed.“

“I took my son here for his birthday on a Thursday. We were the only ones there which was fine, the staff was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good! My son had the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, and yams. He loved it all and they gave plenty of food. We will definitely be back and I would recommend everyone go try it!“

“Love LJS! We only have this one near us. They were having some difficulty with their computer system when we were there. So we had a bit of a wait, and some waited longer than us. I truly love this place and WANT it to do well so it's not closed like the one in our town. But, LJS or the owner of this particular restaurant needs to give it some attention. The outside needs the area spruced up. The inside fairly well, but the cabinet door where ketchup and condiments were stored was hanging by 1 hinge. The employees were slow but focused on the orders on the system that had gone down. Glad to have this store, just want to keep it open.“
