“Simple Folk was again DELIGHTED to be at Reems Creek Golf Club Grill 1/6/24...with their awesome staff, wonderful food and drinks, and GORGEOUS venue! Friendly people, just an incredible atmosphere and it was our pleasure to be a part of such an amazing venue! If you haven't been to Weaverville to play golf, have a meal, or sit out on the terrace with a tasty adult beverage you are missing out on a wonderful experience! “Shorties is an exceptional establishment. The management and staff have warmly welcomed a member of our community with disabilities and provided them with employment opportunities. The premises are immaculately maintained, and their commitment to cleanliness is evident in every aspect. The sanitation rating outside does not accurately reflect the high standards upheld within. I have personally observed the staff preparing food, adhering to strict hygiene practices, and regularly monitoring food temperatures. The health department should consider conducting an updated review to reflect the actual quality of this establishment. Shorties demonstrated its commitment to the local community during the recent Helene crisis. The business is now under new ownership and is striving to establish itself as a reputable name. I highly recommend trying their delicious menu, which features quality barbecue!!!“

“Wow! This place has outstandingly delicious food. I tried it for the first today. The mac&cheese pie was very chessey with just a bit of golden brown crust, sinfully good. The collard greens were great,with just hint of tangy warmth. The pulled pork is by far some of the best I have ever tasted anywhere not just Asheville area. Good service. Friendly people.“

“We had the Brisket Sandwich.
It was outstanding , the smoked tomato sauce to die for. The Mac and Cheese the perfect amount of creamy and cheesy. The brisket so tender and juicy.I Highly recommend this place!!! (No pictue of the sandwich we ate it too fast )“

“We love eating in any LongHorn locations, but sometimes there is no consistency. I asked for medium on my Flo’s fillet but was well done. I didn’t asked for another one because they supposed to get it right the first time. Flavor was good but kind of dry.The ribeye was a bit salty. They need re training in the kitchen. The wait was a bit long as well for the food.“

“Busy place!! We're servers 1st off, so we understand. We ordered steaks, duh. Filet and ribeye. (MR) Came out blue rare. Sent them back and got same steaks, flashed and now rare. We decided to eat them because we were starving... Poor form for a "steakhouse". Everything else was GREAT, including our waitress!! (Who we tipped 20+% Not her fault you have someone who can't cook meat.) Lol. I recommend the filet. Tasty even rare!!“
