“The perfect slice of pizza and even better after a day at the beach. This is the real thing! As close to a New York City slice as I can find without the plane ride. The thin crust is wonderful but just thick enough not to fold or collapse when holding it with one hand. Cold drinks available by easy access in the stand up cooler.“

“The pizza at ZAPIE is expensive, but I find myself ordering it time-and-time again as a treat. It's basically gourmet pizza and I prefer it to some of its nearby competitors.
I normally order pizzas from places that specialize in gourmet pizza-making and are not part of a franchise, ZAPIE has lots of pizza recipes that other places don't offer, especially where white pies are concerned. My favorite is Paula's Choice, it's a white pie with a garlic oil sauce, mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and spinach and I add anchovies to that. I also like my pizza well-done.
One of my favorite pizza places in town was Pizzettas before they closed and another restaurant opened up. Elizabeth's Pizza also used to dish out amazing pizza until it closed down during Covid. The latter was Italian-owned, which I appreciated since I am from Italy and know the makings of a good pizza. 🍕
Anyway, the pizza at ZAPIE is generally good, but it's expensive pre-and-post Covid.
A couple of nights ago I had an issue where I placed an order for delivery an hour before closing and their online system gave me confirmation of the order completion and that I had been charged and then unbeknownst to me, the order was cancelled somehow because my confirmation stated the pizza would take about 60 minutes for preparation and delivery, but myself and guests waited over an hour and a half before ordeing food from another place. Needless to say the pizza never arrived.
I originally wrote a bad review because when I spoke to the manager the next day he simply apologized with no offering to mitigate the circumstances of myself and my friends' inconvenience of waiting for hours for our late-night dinner.
After my poor review, the same manager I had originally talked with left me a very nice and respectful voicemail informing me that his intentions were to discount my pizza upon my next order if I was willing to give the business another chance, which I intend to do because systems get glitches that sometimes cause failures in the processes we have in place, but that's how we learn how to take the preventative measures to ensure better outcomes in the future.
Every good business deserves a chance to make things right for their customers and when I write my reviews, my goal is to help potential customers as much as the business itself because a good business takes no customer for granted.“

“The pizza is good but the Nachos are really good. This place is one of the only places I've ever been that layers the nachos. They use two types of cheese and the toppings are plentiful. We get the veggie nachos and add chicken. 1 order is more then enough for two people and will keep you picking for an hour. Great game day choice.“

“What an amazing first experience we had tonight! My wife and I live in Myrtle Beach, but our child lives here. We are staying at their place watching their pets while they are away. This place has been on our to try list for a while now and we finally had the opportunity. What an incredible experience! The food was outstanding! The flavor was on point and the servings were huge! My wife and I each had an amazing pasta dish and split the largest piece of coconut cake we have ever seen. Now, you would think after all that I just wrote that would be the best part of our experience, but it wasn’t! The absolute best part was one of the kindest people we have ever met, Bella! Let me tell you the meaning of her name fits in so many ways! She was absolutely incredible! So kind! So caring! I honestly could go on and on! She made my mine and my wife’s evening such a memorable night.“

“Came here on a whim with the my GF mid afternoon. We shared a small greek salad and a medium pizza with feta and artichoke. The salad was plentiful for two people with the contents spilling over. The pizza was a good size with just the right amount of toppings for how thin the crust was. New York fold doable! The crust was bake just right to hold the toppings. It was on the sweeter side and was not embellished with herbs and such. Just a good crust overall.

Service was great granted there were only 6 tops when we arrived.

Live music on Wed and Sun apparently. We will need to check it out.“

“First time my husband and I had ever eaten here and it was delicious and the prices were good. The staff were amazing especially when we accidentally dropped our leftover spaghetti and meatballs. They gave us a brand new one on the house even though they didn't have too and we didn't ask. We will definitely be going back and I recommend this place to anyone.“

The salad came out and was kind of small for three people and $10. The pizza came out hot and fresh. Looked fantastic! Crust was cooked just right. Crispy and firm. It did lack a little flavor. I'm wondering if regular pizza sauce adds the flavor I was looking for. I'm not a huge fan of white pizza. Both my wife and my daughter liked it. It was pretty good. “This was a cool experience, the pizza chef talked to my son and he loved it while we waited. Food was fresh and very tasty. All the flavors were there. Unlike some Domino's, this location is doing it right. While we were on a weekend away, and I didn't take pictures, we ordered 2 pizzas, 5 Mac And cheese, 2 orders of wings, and the lava's. It was all very flavorful. And you can't get that everywhere. When we come back here, we will be eating Domino's from this location again! And all the staff and pizza chefs were very kind, and full of energy. Positive energy. That's what went into my food and I appreciate it.“

I even eat the crust, which I usually skip elsewhere. They’ve got that good restaurant ranch, and their marinara is solid. They use the thin-cut, round Italian sausage and slice the veggies perfectly thin. Vito’s special is it, treat yourself.“

I have had a great experience at this Papa Johns location. I actually have a closer Papa Johns near my home but I order from this location because it is run much better. So far I have no complaints. The food is as expected and as it should be.

She has made our night better when it's going bad at least 4 times now. Little things like calling us to make sure our pizza is hot when we get there and meeting us at the car before we even get a chance to check in! And she's so freaking nice! “It was 1230 a m when I ordered on the app and the food was cooked as if it were there first order of the day . You can tell when someone cares about there job weather it's shoveling poop or making pizzas they did it to the best of their ability. The pertty lady cooking and working the counter was nice fast and on point not to mention pizza garlic and cinnamon twist were excellent good job momma!!! ??

“This is a REALLY yummy spot with great gluten free and vegetarian options, however we were a little bummed (but understanding) when we learned they were closing an hour earlier than what was posted on the door/online. They didn’t let us know that they were closing an hour early until right after we got our food which made me feel bad, we could’ve picked somewhere else if we had been informed prior to being sat. However it was still yummy and they were super kind about it! Our server was a very nice young lady :)“
