“Real good dive, the stumplifter is a great cocktail. Like the daily specials and all the little things they have that tie the bow in this place. Mug nite is a good touch too. Good unassuming place with a super friendly staff. My one compliant is everytime I've gone through the offsale is that there's always the strangest people inside or around the area. That being said, it's not at the fault if Chub's, it's a weird part of town after all. Anyway they were playing Casino on TV and I saw Tua get his 3rd or 4th concussion here so I whole-heartedly recommend Chub's!

“Definition of what one would consider a dive bar. That title is only accurate when describing the low number of patrons and dark corners throughout the interior booths. Service was friendly and prompt. Easy to strike up a casual conversation with the gals working. The ratio of server to patron allows for drinks to flow continually. Employees whom one can see enjoy performing. Some may go as far as to call Specks Bar, a hidden gem.

Parking: Easy to find a spot as Specks bar has a couple hundred yard area on the backside which extends to the rainroad“

“I wanted to take the time to tell you what a great experience we had last night! The service from the bartender and manager on shift last night was top notch! Both were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and beers offered on tap. We sampled a few items from the tap and found some new favorites! The bartender made me a pickle martini after I expressed how much I loved pickles! Food was great, drinks were delicious and the service was excellent! It’s so refreshing to meet people who love what they do! We will be back our next trip to Fargo for sure!“

She had a good rapport with her customers and did a good job of checking in with everyone despite being the only person there. Dark atmosphere. Old bar. And good beer selection at cheap prices. If you look up dive bar in a dictionary, they could have a picture of Duffy’s.“

“Me and my girlfriend came out tonight (on a Saturday night) after waiting 30/45 min at a Applebees with no sign of seeing a table…walked in to be greeted right away by a hostess and was seated right away. Food was AMAZING staff was as friendly as they come greeting us as we walked in and telling us to have a good night on our way out. Food was 🔥 🔥 10/10 from the Stars ⭐️ we will be back out for more BBQ for sure!“

“I'll never forget the bartender, who saw me get up with a cane and came over to let me hold his arm to go to the restroom.

He was even on his way to me when I came out just to help me back to my seat. And he wasn't even our server.

Very nice young gentlemen and I will put his name in here as soon as I find it out because we're going there again today.“

“Hands down, two of the best soups I've ever tasted! Lasagna soup? Who knew! Then I went for the Shepard Stew soup! Mind boggling delicious. Sheri was a fabulous waitress. Kind, courteous, and unbelievably patient with my indecisive self. The menu is nothing I'd ever expected in a truck stop! If you're tired of the fast food BS in most truck stops, this is a must see to believe. I'll definitely be coming back.“
