“After stopping at a not-so-great restaurant, I needed a palate cleanser. I began searching for a good local bar or restaurant in the area and stumbled upon a local couple who suggested Berry & Rye. I’m thankful they did, or I would have likely called it a night. I tried their Old Fashioned and Yukon Gold cocktails, and both were pretty good! Once I sat down, an individual, I believe was the owner, started talking to me. He shared stories and vast knowledge about different distilleries across the Midwest. Such experiences are rare in larger cities and made my first few hours in Omaha a little sweeter.“

If you're nostalgic for the 70s, they still have pickle tickets and a cigarette vending machine. Always hopping on the weekend but never too busy to find a seat.“

“I love Martini's & this place was on my list for my bday on 12/15 - yes I know its not open on Sun, so my plan was to go on Sat the 14th. Weather interfered w ice storm on Fri 13th, so Sat night was super packed & i wasn't able to even get in....no biggie, went to Roxxy n had a blast! Fast forward to my bff coming out from NY n here for Christmas n we decided to go out on 12/28 n try again & yay we were able to finally get in! “The fortunate son cocktail was really good! I enjoyed the banana. There’s tons of different drink options including a huuuge cocktail menu. I will definitely come back and try the caffeinated cocktail menu. There’s typical bar snacks available, and a super cute photo booth! “I am not sure how this place is for a bar, although it looked like a fun crowd on even a week night. However I do love this place because it is one of the few, scratch that, the only BAR AND GAS STATION that I have ever seen. You can get cheaper fuel here than anywhere else in the area. You just need to pay cash inside.I think that is a perfectly good reason to check the place out. It is something everyone should see.“

“All the food was delicious. The drinks were on point! The fries are crispy, thin, salty, fluffy and delicious!! Macaroni and cheese was baked to perfection/ my daughter ate the leftovers and said it’s the best she’s had. My husband gave two thumbs up to the fried chicken bucket and he’s usually pretty picky about his fried chicken, so this is very positive! The chicken was served with a dish of blackened ranch dressing….YUM! we dipped the fries in the ranch…anything would taste good dipped in this dressing. I ate the vegan meatloaf sandwich with Texas toast grilled to crispy perfection, making this sandwich very delicious! What a surprise to have awesome vegan options on the menu…Thank you Fizzy’s! What makes this place even better is the atmosphere. The vibes in here are 50’s diner/bar and I love it, I mean, who doesn’t love a pink barstool??!! I will be back for the atmosphere and drinks, and I will need the fries again soon. My hubby’s vesper was expertly mixed. I had a mezcal drink from the pop-up, it was unique and tasty, served in a fun glass with a lovely marinated cherry garnish. 💕 LOVE

Vegetarian options: I had a vegan meatloaf sandwich. The Texas toast was perfectly crisp and delicious. The meatloaf was nutty, vegan mayo and bbq sauce topped it off well. Yum! This was a special dish offered on their pop-up menu.“

“Too much change going on in your life? Miss the days of yesteryear. Head on down to the interlude. 5 Busch lights, a Ketel one and soda and a Blue moon later, my tab was only $27 plus tip. The first time I drank at the Interlude, I was a wee lad of 21 back in the year 2000, I only make it to this fine place every few years, but the only thing that had changed is the style of TV. “Our first trip to Gather couldn’t have gone better. The host, Steve was super accommodating in seating us. I appreciated the table farther away from the majority of the business as it was quieter and more intimate. Our waitress, Cathleen was extremely helpful and super friendly, even giving our oldest daughter individualized attention without being annoying like a lot of servers are when we are trying to enjoy a night out as a family. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat them without cranberries again; who would have known. They added such a pop of brightness to the dish. My wife had the pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Wagyu flat iron with Chimichurri, and where so many restaurants fail, they succeeded in having a well-balanced sauce that wasn’t overly acidic and provided a welcomed heat to the dish. Loved the elote corn which was kept warm the entire meal having been served in its own skillet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good, and even the chicken strips we ordered for our daughter was a shelf above any other restaurant. My daughter loved the donut holes and the birthday cake they prepared, although simple, was surprisingly delicious. They even do the simple things well! By far, the best dessert was the Strawberry-Basil sorbet; such a fresh and delightful way to end the meal. One of the things that stuck out to me most was the attention we got from the manager, Tony. Most of the time you see managers walking around, it feels like they are just “doing their job,” but this guy was bringing food out to customers, checking in with tables, assisting in any way he could, and genuinely looked liked he loved being there. He checked on a few questions we had about the food and he also gave special attention to our daughter which definitely elevated her experience. The service, food, atmosphere and getting to see their Hydroponic garden make this a must visit! Will definitely be back.“

“Cute place with plenty of seating. We were able to make a reservation online and get right in with two adults and a high chair. The waitress we had was very friendly and did a great job answering any questions and explaining the menu. We had the crab rangoons, everything smoked salmon, and 3 sushi rolls…all were delicious. “My husband and I have been super impressed by the Dell since it reopened last year—amazing craft cocktails, solid beer options, and very elevated pub food that you can tell is made with high quality ingredients. We were last there on NYE for an early dinner and the service and food were top notch. Honestly would choose this over other $100 places, so good! They went above and beyond for us. Hope they can continue to build back up demand—as it is such an incredible atmosphere since the remodel!“
