“I love Martini's & this place was on my list for my bday on 12/15 - yes I know its not open on Sun, so my plan was to go on Sat the 14th. Weather interfered w ice storm on Fri 13th, so Sat night was super packed & i wasn't able to even get in....no biggie, went to Roxxy n had a blast! Fast forward to my bff coming out from NY n here for Christmas n we decided to go out on 12/28 n try again & yay we were able to finally get in! The place is so elegant n beautiful & has a very classy comfortable feeling to it - I knew I would 💜 it! At the bar talking about my quest n fail of trying to come here for my bday a few weeks ago, sitting next to me was the bar manager Carmen - she said she'd buy me a shot n I was like "oh cool", I never saw it so thought she was just being nice n a totally forgot n I thought 'its ok, no biggie"....then I go to pay my bill & turns out she picked up my 1st round of drinks - so extremely super sweet of her & I appreciated that n her so much. “This is the best bar in Omaha, which makes it the best bar in an approximate 600 mile radius. All the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable, to the extent that they all have their own custom cocktails on the menu. I have never had a more personable experience in the service industry, either. I could come here on any given day and find something here or even in myself that I didn't have the day before. Whether you're just passing through or finding a spot in the area to roost, this is it. Much love to all the people who make this place happen. Keep on doing you, it's flawless.“

“Great drinks. Good selection of drinks. The bar is open until 1:30AM. They accept Apple Pay. The music is chill. They have enough seating for if you are by yourself or with a group of 8. They even have group drinks ready to make to share. They also have seasonal drinks to taste. I've celebrated my birthday and my sister birthday here and its always great vibes.“

“Old Mill is not my typical kind of place. I met a group of friends there to watch the Nebraska game. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a smash burger on the menu. I made mine a double. I wish I had taken a picture of it. It is A Lot of Burger!!! So good...and the fries, I've never had any like them, thin and crispy but not dry, and the seasoning is perfect. I'll probably come back just for the burger!“

However I do love this place because it is one of the few, scratch that, the only BAR AND GAS STATION that I have ever seen. You can get cheaper fuel here than anywhere else in the area. “I’d been here before to simply enjoy their alcoholic milkshakes - but little did I know that I was heavily sleeping on the food!
Of course, I have to mention that the service was fabulous. They were super attentive, despite the diner ‘phone ordering’ style of the spot. They cleaned a table out front for me since I didn’t want to sit in the back (it’s dark and I get sleepy haha I’ll wait for natural light!), constantly ensured our space was cleared, and checked on us regularly.

The drinks are always great, and I would recommend the mint chip one the most. I also enjoy their mezcal cocktail!

BUT
Their side of Mac and cheese is what really blew me away! It took longer than the other food ordered at the table (nachos - also delicious, burgers, and fries) BUT was entirely worth the wait. Their Mac and cheese is far from store bought, with a thick creamy sauce that is heavy and filling. It’s seasoned well, but not overpowering to the cheesy-ness. The pull of the cheese said it all! The top was clearly baked, crispy and dark. I was truly in Mac and cheese heaven and made sure to have my friend give it a try as well, who was also incredibly impressed. While it is only a side, since it is so dense, it serves me as a meal! Highly recommend you give this spot a try for the vibes, but don’t sleep on the Mac!“

The first time I drank at the Interlude, I was a wee lad of 21 back in the year 2000, I only make it to this fine place every few years, but the only thing that had changed is the style of TV. The building and people were nice, my drinks were made perfectly and tasted amazing, but I paid in cash and my card was still charged the next day for the bar visit and it wasn't a low settle amount or I wouldn't be on here rating it as a 1 star but I didn't tip a little extra just so my card could be charged it's been now two weeks and nothing, no fixes, I've been told ooooh come back tomorrow or give my manager a call or oh she will call you back, went in and talked the the manager ( Nikki ) not sure how it was spelled, but all she did was ask for my name and number and said I will give you a call, nothing gave them a couple more calls nothing, and went in the next day just to talk to get a receipt of my visit so I can file a money dispute, and all of a sudden I'm vist isn't even in their system, not sure what you guys did but wasn't happy with this visit and I really liked your place but I don't wanna go back when you aren't careful with people money, or reach out and communicate or try and fix the situation. Two bartender even admitted they seen me paying cash that night... Pretty sad actually because I wanted a new bar to bring my group of friends with into on our regular night outs.“

“Our first trip to Gather couldn’t have gone better. The host, Steve was super accommodating in seating us. I appreciated the table farther away from the majority of the business as it was quieter and more intimate. Our waitress, Cathleen was extremely helpful and super friendly, even giving our oldest daughter individualized attention without being annoying like a lot of servers are when we are trying to enjoy a night out as a family. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat them without cranberries again; who would have known. They added such a pop of brightness to the dish. My wife had the pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Wagyu flat iron with Chimichurri, and where so many restaurants fail, they succeeded in having a well-balanced sauce that wasn’t overly acidic and provided a welcomed heat to the dish. Loved the elote corn which was kept warm the entire meal having been served in its own skillet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good, and even the chicken strips we ordered for our daughter was a shelf above any other restaurant. My daughter loved the donut holes and the birthday cake they prepared, although simple, was surprisingly delicious. They even do the simple things well! By far, the best dessert was the Strawberry-Basil sorbet; such a fresh and delightful way to end the meal. One of the things that stuck out to me most was the attention we got from the manager, Tony. Most of the time you see managers walking around, it feels like they are just “doing their job,” but this guy was bringing food out to customers, checking in with tables, assisting in any way he could, and genuinely looked liked he loved being there. He checked on a few questions we had about the food and he also gave special attention to our daughter which definitely elevated her experience. The service, food, atmosphere and getting to see their Hydroponic garden make this a must visit! Will definitely be back.“

“We held my daughter’s bridal shower at the Omaha location. The venue was perfect! I worked with Maddie prior to the event; she answered all of my questions and we had the details ironed out ahead of time.
