From our first visit, we’ve been impressed with everything from the pleasant service to the creative menu and dishes. My husband’s favorite is the VooDoo Chicken, but warns that it’s not for the ‘faint of mouth’. It’s delightfully spicy and goes beautifully with the accompanying cooked apples and al dente green beans.“

“Met a friend here at Beacon Hills last Friday night and our experience was really good. It was super quiet in there because there was a husker game starting at 7 o'clock that night so not a lot of diners. Our food was excellent. I had Craigs soon to be famous chicken sandwich and I would definitely order that again next time. Two of the ladies had the pork tenderloin sandwich and they raved about their dinner as well. The mac & cheese was good, but they must've been waiting for our sandwiches to finish so it was lukewarm when it came out but i heated up leftovers the next day and it was very good Since it was so quiet in there there was a lot of servers just standing around and talking, which did distract somewhat from the service. But overall would definitely go again. By the way, we did sit on the bar side in case the husker game did start before we finished.“

“Came to Omaha for a conference and it was within walking distance to my hotel. The bartender recommended a good beer 🍺 and the Tipsy Cuban sandwich 🥪 which were both good. Nice local pub to get a burger and a beer.“

“My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by staying at the Marriott in Regency. We decided to eat at the onsite restaurant and were so fortunate we did because the food and service were wonderful! I had the chicken, and my husband ordered the tacos. Both were spectacular. He and his staff were very friendly with us, the food was great, and I would recommend this place to anyone. “My singular experience was pleasant. I sat at the bar, and even though there were many small groups around it me, it was still a quiet environment. The music volume was very low, I can't tell you how much I loved that aspect. The bartender was a total pro. My food was delivered quickly and was excellent. I had the goat cheese balls. They were so amazing I pretty much inhaled them. Then I ordered the grilled salmon salad and oh my stars and garters, it was exquisite. I have attached a photo of said salad.“

“Head Chef/Owner Anthony Kueper has set the bar high for other Omaha restaurants. His food is flavorful and unique. Chef Anthony has clearly honed his craft and deserves all the praise that can be mustered. Prices are excellent considering the quality of food and service. The unimposing facade of the building doesn't prepare you for the quaint elegance inside. You will not be disappointed with your experience here, regardless of which menu item you select. You really can't go wrong letting Chef surprise you with his tasting menu, either.“

“Bre was very patient, kind and helpful with us. She heard our grandson repeat crackers when she was talking to another person at the table who need crackers for their crab legs and when she brought those she also brought our grandson some crackers to eat. It was very sweet of her.

Kid-friendliness: Our waitress Bre was very helpful by bringing a bowl of cherries for our grandson. She spent time talking to him. She did a great job.“

“I had a party room on Thursday July 14th. I had a business dinner with a visiting VP. Ashley was the only waitress for the WHOLE restaurant. I would’ve appreciated the option of whole wheat English muffins, but that issue is the same across the entire chain. “If I can describe the atmosphere I would say very positive, family oriented and fun. Shevys is an awesome bar that I get to DJ at and I enjoy the crowd getting down. “I’ve always enjoyed Penn Station every single time. Nothing wrong with the food or the service. However, this time, instead of ordering full sized cookies, I decided to order the dozen bite sized cookies. But what I got instead was 3 cookies, cut into quarters. 👎🏼 I chose bite sized cookies for a reason. If I wanted full sized cookies cut down, I would’ve ordered full size cookies and cut them down.
Might seem like a small inconvenience, but they are not the same. Now I have a bunch of cookie pieces that will get hard quickly, rather than small individual cookies I can save for a few days.
