“I had introduced friends of mine to beacon hills, since then the only restaurant they want to visit each time we are in Omaha. We have a variety of items. A couple of our favorites are the chicken pot pie and roast beef sandwich with all the sides. Plenty to take home!“

From our first visit, we’ve been impressed with everything from the pleasant service to the creative menu and dishes. My husband’s favorite is the VooDoo Chicken, but warns that it’s not for the ‘faint of mouth’. “My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by staying at the Marriott in Regency. We decided to eat at the onsite restaurant and were so fortunate we did because the food and service were wonderful! I had the chicken, and my husband ordered the tacos. Both were spectacular. He and his staff were very friendly with us, the food was great, and I would recommend this place to anyone. “My singular experience was pleasant. I sat at the bar, and even though there were many small groups around it me, it was still a quiet environment. The music volume was very low, I can't tell you how much I loved that aspect. The bartender was a total pro. My food was delivered quickly and was excellent. I had the goat cheese balls. They were so amazing I pretty much inhaled them. Then I ordered the grilled salmon salad and oh my stars and garters, it was exquisite. I have attached a photo of said salad.“

Chef Anthony has clearly honed his craft and deserves all the praise that can be mustered. Prices are excellent considering the quality of food and service. The unimposing facade of the building doesn't prepare you for the quaint elegance inside. You will not be disappointed with your experience here, regardless of which menu item you select. You really can't go wrong letting Chef surprise you with his tasting menu, either.“

“We had a large party dining together, and our server, Vickie M., absolutely knocked it out of the park. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, organized, and incredibly attentive. Managing a big group is never easy, but she handled every order perfectly—no missed items, no delays, and always with a warm smile.

She checked on us often without ever feeling intrusive, kept drinks filled, accommodated special requests, and made sure everyone at the table felt taken care of. Her professionalism and positive attitude truly elevated our experience.

I didn't even finish waiting on the BLT. very slow and from what I could see, there is nothing special going on here. Just a glorified Subway.“

“WheatFields has long been a family favorite and a perfect place to celebrate Mother's Day. While the restaurant is only open until 2 p.m., the deli is often open until 3 p.m., but not always. I never thought you could get good French onion soup to go, but they mastered it! We also got a tuna croissant sandwich and a gluten-free quiche. Both were delicious! The service was perfect as well. Not to be punny, but the icing on the cake was picking up some strawberry wedding cake cupcakes, one of several signature bakery items. I think I wish there was a Wheatfields near me?!
Fast forward seven months, for a return trip: When is the right time for lobster and crab cakes? Anytime at Wheatfields! I had them with their eggs Benedict served on their signature potatoes. It was so good! The yolks were slightly overcooked, but only for the traditional style of eggs Benedict. The creamy potatoes more than made up for it in flavor and moisture. A definite do again!
For take out, I grabbed a crustless quiche for two, chicken noodle soup with thick homemade noodles, a large cinnamon roll and a piece of strawberry wedding cake. The latter two should make it to family that couldn't make it ;) By the way, they have a decent gluten free selection. The few that I've tried have been delish! Lastly, they also have a party room for large groups.“

I would’ve appreciated the option of whole wheat English muffins, but that issue is the same across the entire chain. The server was very solicitous of my daughter’s specific requests for my grandkids’ menu choices (extra plate to share one adult meal, subbing fruit for their potatoes, extra straws and napkins, etc.).“
