We ended up getting a number of starter plates that were all delicious (rice cakes, crab dip, truffles) and enjoyed them with a nice house Cabernet and it was just perfect. “Bre was very patient, kind and helpful with us. She heard our grandson repeat crackers when she was talking to another person at the table who need crackers for their crab legs and when she brought those she also brought our grandson some crackers to eat. It was very sweet of her.

Kid-friendliness: Our waitress Bre was very helpful by bringing a bowl of cherries for our grandson. She spent time talking to him. She did a great job.“

“Took a nap and dreamt I was eating a whole fried catfish. Searched catfish near me and ended up at this spot. Genuinely a hidden gem. I expected some catfish strips, but they had full bone in catfish, the way it was meant to be served! I had the meal with jacket fries and collard greens 🥬 It was well made and a polite punctual staff! Will definitely be returning!“

“Best and most fresh Guac I've had in forever. The nachos were amazing and the owners were super sweet. We were able to sample the chamoy gummies and all the bloody Mary mixes. Ended up leaving with a few of each thing tested. Can't wait to go back!“

“We were visiting Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway meeting and many restaurants were fully booked Friday night. Sand Point had availability and we are so happy it did. The staff were helpful and we decided on raw oysters to start. They were absolutely delicious so we ordered more. I had the tuna and it was perfectly seared, incredibly tender and perfectly accompanied with asparagus and vegetable purée and a hint of citrus. We also ordered champagne. They were out of the brand we ordered. The owner came to the table with a great alternative which we happily accepted. She stayed and chatted for a few minutes and we learned that she wants to add an oyster bar to the restaurant which would be a great addition. Our server was very attentive and we ended the meal with a chocolate tart that was decadent. We highly recommend this restaurant. I hope we can come back soon.“

We had pho just delicious the prices are good for what you get. We also had the sea food combo lobster tails. Love it! Their ice coffee is delicious as well. Nothing wrong with this place we’re definitely going to keep coming back. My family and I highly recommend this place.“

“I have been coming to surfside for forty years. I loved it as a kid and now bring my kids regularly and they love it too. Chicken, catfish and fritters are always amazing although i do miss the whole catfish side over the filets but still delish! We've been lots so far this season and this is the first time I realized that the area where patrons go to smoke is right next to where the bounce house is where the kids play. Seems like with all the space there would be a better option for smokers instead of right next to the bounce house. I don't mind smoking and am a former smoker so not shaming just maybe by the portable potty instead of the kids area.“

“Head Chef/Owner Anthony Kueper has set the bar high for other Omaha restaurants. His food is flavorful and unique. Chef Anthony has clearly honed his craft and deserves all the praise that can be mustered. Prices are excellent considering the quality of food and service. The unimposing facade of the building doesn't prepare you for the quaint elegance inside. You will not be disappointed with your experience here, regardless of which menu item you select. You really can't go wrong letting Chef surprise you with his tasting menu, either.“

“Met a friend here at Beacon Hills last Friday night and our experience was really good. It was super quiet in there because there was a husker game starting at 7 o'clock that night so not a lot of diners. Our food was excellent. I had Craigs soon to be famous chicken sandwich and I would definitely order that again next time. Two of the ladies had the pork tenderloin sandwich and they raved about their dinner as well. The mac & cheese was good, but they must've been waiting for our sandwiches to finish so it was lukewarm when it came out but i heated up leftovers the next day and it was very good Since it was so quiet in there there was a lot of servers just standing around and talking, which did distract somewhat from the service. But overall would definitely go again. By the way, we did sit on the bar side in case the husker game did start before we finished.“

“What an amazing dining experience!! We had a party of 7 and our waitress was just phenomenal. She was on top of everything throughout the meal. And such a relaxed atmosphere with high end food. To say the food was excellent is an understatement. The flavors were impeccable and everything went together perfectly. From appetizers, salads, soup, main course and dessert- each bit was melt in your mouth deliciousness. And their drink menu is perfect for anyone's taste. Classic to innovative- their drinks are sure to satisfy. I would definitely recommend trying Cibo Vino out. We will definitely be stopping by again!“

I tried the chicken with hot garlic sauce and fried rice, not too shabby. The eggroll was a little too oily for me but I'd eat here again and try their crab rangoons to see if those are better.
