Great food and a fun place to eat
Tried a new Mexican restaurant in omaha. Was a good experience. The atmosphere was very nice. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and was not busy. They are very generous with the chips and salsa and offer a very good cheese dip. The menu had a lot to offer and the portions were big. Most of our party took at least half of our meal home. La Plaza Fiesta is a favorite for Mexican food, offering an outstanding and amazing dining experience. The food is delicious, with great flavor. Specific highlights include the amazing quesaburria quesadilla, the wonderful tableside guacamole, the plaza fajitas, and the carnitas plate, noted as juicy and tender. The pico de gallo is also loved. For lunch, servings are huge and reasonably priced. The margaritas and a margarita flight are out of the park good, and the unique drinks are impressive. The service is absolutely friendly, attentive, and prompt from start to finish. The staff is accommodating, patient, and knows the menu well. Guests consistently leave wanting to come back the next day to try more dishes, including seafood items like the whole crispy red snapper.
