50 Best Sports Bars in Omaha

“Great food and atmosphere but needs work on handling large crowds for events. Tonight my fiance and I had a wild experience lol. Arrived knowing we would wait, was quoted 30 min to 1 hour. Agreed and took a seat at the bar for drinks, table was available within the 30 min time frame which was great. Was seated and didn’t see a server for 35 minutes, we expected a wait and wasn’t too bothered at this point over it. Once the server came over to us he said he thought we were being taken care of already since I had a drink from the bar. We brushed it off and placed our drinks and food order at that time. My food came out within 5 minutes and we were pretty stunned with how quick that came considering how packed it was. Now, after 10 min of him not getting his order and we also didn’t have our drinks we looked around to find someone to ask. I called out to the server and the manager several times, but didn’t succeed in grabbing their attention and fiance didn’t want me to get up and find someone. 40 minutes after my food arrived the server came up to us and I asked about his food and our drinks. I said well just take our bill and a to go box for mine. He did bring out my fiancés order and removed it from the bill. We understand it’s not entirely the servers fault but overall we were pretty bummed since we do enjoy this spot for the atmosphere and the food has always been good. A few other tables also were saying they had similar experiences tonight and also just wanted their bills as well.“

“Great service, I wish I could remember her name. Great football atmosphere. Great food. This afternoon we ordered two appetizers, chips and queso cheese dip and breaded mushrooms with ranch dressing on the side. Orderd three orders of the daily special, 12 chicken wings/drumsticks for $12 and a Packers Burger with sides of onion rings. I think it's all homemade, it tastes that good. Always a great spot for meeting up with the family for lunches and dinners. Thank you again. See you again soon!“

“Do not sleep on Shevy’s in Elkhorn. I’ve meant to post about their prime rib dip sandwhich forever, but I always inhale it before snapping a pic. This time, I showed restraint (barely). Juicy, tender prime rib, gooey melted cheese, and grilled buttery bread that deserves a standing ovation. The au jus? Not too salty, just rich and dunk-worthy. Fries? Absolute top-tier. Crispy outside, soft inside. Tied with Addy’s for best in town. My fiancée got the Philly and we both agreed: it’s one of, if not the best we’ve tried around town. Full strands of grilled peppers and onions, not the sad chopped bits you get elsewhere. And as always, Shevy’s has that friendly, down-home service. Go get you some.. and try to take a photo before you’re completely lost in the sauce. “Our large group from Wisconsin, we were all in Omaha for our friends sons wedding. We’re diehard Packers fans. The bar had numerous TV’s and the service was great. The bar was full of fans watching their teams too. Lots of cheering and excitement it was fun!“

“Missed Happy Hour on a Tuesday, but ordered an IPA and tacos. Beer could have been colder. Tacos were excellent. Parking is somewhat difficult. Don't look up at ceiling--lots of dust around fans that are directly overhead. Dining room was closed because of leaks in roof.“

I believe possibly the day manager waited on us while the other waiters truly hussled through the other orders when what I believe was a substantial lunch crowd hit right at opening! Take my word for it-do the hummus tray! Pesto and sundried tomato hummus was unreal-so good! My husband had the Swiss mushroom burger with the up charged sweet potato fries which was so worth it! Our cocktails were well made with a nice pour. Well done Local Beer! We will return! (Sorry no pictures!). Would be great for a sport even! Energetic atmosphere!“

“we love the food. however, tonight we were a bit disappointed when they would not honor or Pinpoint rewards for a free app and also didnt even give us points for our meal. The sign on front door says wings are no longer "on Special ", but doesn't explain anything about Pinpoint. plus, we should've at least got point credits.“

“The service was outstanding. We went during a slower time of the afternoon. Food was hot and served promptly. I had the Italian meatball sandwich and onion rings.
The sandwich was okay for what tasted like canned sauce and a generic cheese, nothing special. Kind of a smaller portion. The toasted bun was a nice touch. The onion rings were huge and made the almost hotdog bun sized sandwich look smaller than it was.
Typical concrete, industrial atmosphere. Lots of TV's but the sun was bright enough not to see them well from facing east in the afternoon.
I'm not a huge fan of chain food but, I wasn't hungry when I left. Prices were as expected. A decent place, I guess.“

“A couple weeks ago we brought are kids in, it was me and my mom with my five kids and three nephews. We for sure thought it would be a circus. But the staff were so nice and helpful. They let each kid order, gave them their own coloring sheet and it just felt as if they went above and beyond for us. Every time we’ve ever gone for dinner it’s always a great experience but this time was just above all the rest!! Also the chicken bacon ranch taco was absolutely delicious!! They also were super helpful with my mom who is gluten free making sure she was able to enjoy lunch with the rest of us!! Shoot out to employee Tim who is always so friendly and just down to earth!“

“My first time here. Honestly the menu here was solid and the food jalapeno cream cheese philly was excellent. Service was solid but it wasn't busy at all there were plenty of tables, I bet this place gets a lot of business. They also started trivia towards the end of our visit. Will be back to try some other things on the menu 20-30 bucks per person with drinks

“Went to lunch with my family and some friends on a Sunday afternoon. Manager was quick to accommodate our group as there were only smaller tables available at the time. He and his staff were very friendly with us, the food was great, and I would recommend this place to anyone. It's great to have a place with Keno that is stylish, comfortable atmosphere (for all members of the family) with a very friendly staff to visit on a regular basis. We will be regulars here soon.“
