“Ordered the seafood platter, hush puppies, lobster and shrimp pasta. Everything was so tasty! Hush puppies were basically fried jalapeño cornbread balls and perfectly crunchy and fluffy. High quality seafood. I highly recommend this place.“

Managing a big group is never easy, but she handled every order perfectly—no missed items, no delays, and always with a warm smile.

“We were visiting Omaha for the Berkshire Hathaway meeting and many restaurants were fully booked Friday night. Sand Point had availability and we are so happy it did. The staff were helpful and we decided on raw oysters to start. They were absolutely delicious so we ordered more. I had the tuna and it was perfectly seared, incredibly tender and perfectly accompanied with asparagus and vegetable purée and a hint of citrus. We also ordered champagne. They were out of the brand we ordered. The owner came to the table with a great alternative which we happily accepted. She stayed and chatted for a few minutes and we learned that she wants to add an oyster bar to the restaurant which would be a great addition. Our server was very attentive and we ended the meal with a chocolate tart that was decadent. We highly recommend this restaurant. I hope we can come back soon.“

“Took a nap and dreamt I was eating a whole fried catfish. Searched catfish near me and ended up at this spot. Genuinely a hidden gem. I expected some catfish strips, but they had full bone in catfish, the way it was meant to be served! I had the meal with jacket fries and collard greens 🥬 It was well made and a polite punctual staff! Will definitely be returning!“

“Most of the menu looks great. The chicken was top notch. The southern catfish was okay. The shrimp was great (but it was popcorn, which was a pleasant surprise). Stuffed mushrooms, great. Chicken fried steak was awesome.

The portions are massive. The French fries are some of the best I've had.

“Awesome selection. We're big fans of their grab and go lobster bisque, clam chowder, and seafood boil packs. Some of the frozen take home options like the blackened Alfredo and lobster Mac are unfortunately disappointing. But overall still a great spot.“

I stopped by this amazing Mexican food truck and was blown away by the steak quesadillas! They were cooked to perfection, with tender and juicy steak inside a crispy tortilla. But what really took it to the next level was the green salsa - WOW! It added a fresh, tangy, and slightly spicy kick that complemented the steak perfectly.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but one bite and I was hooked! The combination of the savory steak and the zesty green salsa was absolute magic. I couldn't get enough! The flavors were so well balanced and rich, it was like a party in my mouth.

The owners clearly know what they're doing, and their passion for Mexican cuisine shines through in every bite. The quality of the ingredients, the care in preparation, and the love in every bite are all top-notch.

If you're a quesadilla lover like me, or just looking for an amazing meal, do yourself a favor and get to this food truck ASAP! Order the steak quesadillas with green salsa, and thank me later. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten if I could!

“Head Chef/Owner Anthony Kueper has set the bar high for other Omaha restaurants. His food is flavorful and unique. Chef Anthony has clearly honed his craft and deserves all the praise that can be mustered. Prices are excellent considering the quality of food and service. The unimposing facade of the building doesn't prepare you for the quaint elegance inside. You will not be disappointed with your experience here, regardless of which menu item you select. “What an amazing dining experience!! We had a party of 7 and our waitress was just phenomenal. She was on top of everything throughout the meal. And such a relaxed atmosphere with high end food. To say the food was excellent is an understatement. The flavors were impeccable and everything went together perfectly. From appetizers, salads, soup, main course and dessert- each bit was melt in your mouth deliciousness. And their drink menu is perfect for anyone's taste. “I had introduced friends of mine to beacon hills, since then the only restaurant they want to visit each time we are in Omaha. We have a variety of items. A couple of our favorites are the chicken pot pie and roast beef sandwich with all the sides. Plenty to take home!“

“We just had a gathering of 15 people and the waitress did not know how to separate the orders into the system. Lack of training comes to mind. Having a new person handling that large of a group without being able to split into multiple orders created a lot of fun trying to check out. A year ago we didn’t have any problems. Things change. Fortunately the food still pleases most of the group. I ordered gluten free pizza with extra sauce, didn’t see extra sauce and would prefer a cauliflower crust to what I got (I sure hope it was gluten free). My husband ordered angel hair and got spaghetti. The more experienced staff was getting a sunday off which is good. They seem to be busier than they used to be.“

“I’ve been a patron of Jade Garden for over 25 years. I generally use the takeout for the family. The service is fast and friendly. The food is quite tasty and has always been consistent. Lee runs a good business for all these years. Would recommend eating in or take out. The soups are excellent too.“

“We had our rehearsal dinner at Jams Old Market in downtown Omaha. We were able to rent the Loft 204 upstairs for our event. My husband and I loved the venue from the very beginning! The exposed brick walls, the privacy for our event, and the ability to see where we got engaged were all big aspects we were looking for! The bartender was amazing. The food was even better! It truly felt like a dream come true from the moment we walked through the door. Jams was accommodating for our littles and provide our family with a delicious meal the night before our wedding day. “Friendly staff and great Martini’s. I think people get sticker shock seeing the martini price but you get the shaker which pours pretty much two martini’s and they are very strong. You get your money’s worth. I have been going to Charlie’s since it opened and the new owner has bought it back to its glory days. Make a dinner out of their amazing appetizers or order a traditional Charlie’s lunch or dinner. Trust me you can’t go wrong here. If you have an issue they will fix it.“

“We stopped by this place last night on a whim because the line for the buffet was too long of a wait. We were not disappointed at all! I had an aperol spritz and it was strong and did the job. Our complimentary bread was soft and warm! We didn’t have reservations so we sat at the bar and the bartender was really down to earth and helpful in recommending crowd favorites. I ended up ordering the New York strip with a buttered baked potato and my guy ordered the prime rib with Mac and cheese. The food was 10/10 phenomenal! Every single bite was mouth watering I would compare this to any high end restaurant that I have been to. I did not see the poor reviews until I was about to post mine BUT I completely disagree and had an entirely different experience! I had mentioned we were celebrating for my birthday and they offered me a complimentary desert of my choosing! “A men's small group enjoyed their MGE breakfast menu and atmosphere to catch up with one another, share our testimony and Scriptures. I found their Garden Skillet & coffee sufficient sustenance to power my weekend workday; more than enough to split it less my coffee. Shared, would be closer to bargain breakfast. The seating area allowed free conversations and ample space for eating & enjoying morning beverages.

“My family and I had dinner here 2/11/2023 and the food was AMAZING. The entire restaurant is clean, very neat and orderly. The waiter kept our glasses filled with fresh water, and took the dirty plates quickly. This is for us, one of the BEST Chinese buffets in Omaha. The salad bar was fantastic, FRESH, everything. They offered so many classic dishes, and some new ones. The baked Salmon was so tender and tasty. We will be coming back, thank you very much.“

The woman at the counter gave me some complementary crab Rangoon‘s because “I was nice” and that made me feel appreciated for tipping on a to go order. The lo mein was delicious, however, I do prefer thicker noodles (but that’s just my preference). The chicken wings were crunchy and hit the spot.
Super affordable and TONS of food.
The bathroom needs some love/work but I doubt they own the place so I kinda get it.
