They have an upper section of the bar that made us feel like we had our own private space, as well as still being part of the fun atmosphere of the bar. Great food, great service, and a great time! Some else had catfish and ribs and said they were both great. After you order they give you "pager" the lights up when your food is ready. “We stayed at The Farnam and decided to have dinner at Dynamite Woodfire Grill during Omaha Restaurant Week. This ended up being one of my favorite meals of our entire weekend!
The restaurant has an upscale atmosphere without feeling stuffy, and I loved the focus on wood-fired cooking. You can see the flames at your table from the oven! Everything felt elevated from the presentation to the overall experience, and it was so convenient having such a great restaurant right inside our hotel. From the corn bread, to the gazpacho, to steak, and dessert...this spot is INCREDIBLE.
I’d definitely come back to try more of the regular menu next time we’re in Omaha—even if we weren’t staying at The Farnam!“

“The BEST local place to snag a food in Omaha. It's a low key restaurant that sources locally and engineers new specials daily. It's often busy, so the restaurant can be loud if you dine-in, but it's part of the bustling atmosphere. My fav is the duck duck goose fries, mmmm! I've been going here for years and always take visitors when they are in town.“

“We had our rehearsal dinner at Jams Old Market in downtown Omaha. We were able to rent the Loft 204 upstairs for our event. My husband and I loved the venue from the very beginning! The exposed brick walls, the privacy for our event, and the ability to see where we got engaged were all big aspects we were looking for! The bartender was amazing. The food was even better! It truly felt like a dream come true from the moment we walked through the door. Jams was accommodating for our littles and provide our family with a delicious meal the night before our wedding day. “What a fun place to eat! It’s half old-fashioned diner, half old fashioned casual restaurant. We wanted to try breakfast because they tout their pork green chili and my wife loves to eat as much of that as she can when she goes to Denver. Louie M’s was good but it was not the same as the chili in Denver - this had much more of a tangy tomatillo flavor. She had the breakfast burrito and I had the chorizo scramble and both were very tasty and complimented the green chili tanginess. The service was friendly and fast. I really would love to go back and try one of their burgers, which they are known for.“
