“Not far from Omaha metro area, the trip is worth it. It’s on the west side of Ashland . The beef brisket was very tender with great smoky favor and not dried out it was sliced very thin which is something I like. The sides were excellent, and the right amount. My wife tried the pulled pork and rib tips, they were very tasty, and had a great smoky favor. For dessert the caramel apple cobbler was a pleasant addition to the meal. It’s a must have. Excellent service! Our server was very professional and helpful.”

“let me start by saying i am disappointed in how high-calorie a crumbl cookie is. you need to stretch the cookie out over at least two days to even consider treating yourself— not to mention the cost also warrants a multi day treat.

however, i must applaud this location for their friendliness and customer service, and delicious cookies that live up to the hype and quality we have come to know and love.”

The planning process was wonderful as they were so helpful with the menu selection, giving us samples to try along the way & assisting us in knowing how much to order. “I found myself in Lincoln Nebraska at the end of a long day recently. I was parked on the side of the street and looked around to see where I could eat before a 3 hour drive to my next destination when I saw Honest Abe's burgers just across the street from where I was parked. Of COURSE I had to go try it and I was not disappointed. My burger and fries were fresh and delicious and the ladies working there were friendly. The signs, artwork, and general decor were fun - especially to me!”

“The evening started out not so great. Upon arrival the dinning area was relatively empty but we were asked to wait 5-10 min. I understand it was to delegate customers equally to servers but it feels like there should be a better way. The two girls at the front were laughing and giggling among themselves, hopefully not on the clock but it seemed they were doing take out orders. We almost left during this wait but I was hungry and really wanted brisket.
I ordered the texas brisket plate with a side salad and apples, hubby ordered wings and sweet potato fries. The food was really good, it came out in a timely manner. The corn muffin was delicious even though I wouldnt recommend the apples. But who cares about apples, the main course was on point.
The highlight of the evening and what turned this review from a 3 to a 5 was our server. Lance, I pretty sure that was his name. He was absolutely great, he did everything he could make sure we enjoyed our experience and I highly appreciate him.”
