“We had a fabulous birthday dinner for my husband. The tavern and history is so charming and every meals was delicious. Half of us ordered the restaurant week special scallop scampi and the lobster bisque and the Potato crusted haddock was great. Portion sizes and presentation was perfect. Service attentive. Would definitely recommend.“

“Spent the week in Durham for work. I came to Clarks twice during that stay and both times the food and drinks were excellent. Got a burger with Cajun fries the first time and came back on $10 pizza night and got the sausage pizza which was great. Will def come back here if I'm ever in this neck of the woods again“

“10 out of 10! Fantastic craft beers, creative and delicious comfort foods, cozy ambiance, and fabulous service! We are former Dover dwellers and C&M is one more reason to keep coming back to our favorite NH city! We loved the chicken nuggets, Rueben croquettes, fish & chips, pork sandwich, and tomato soup. Stomp Box was the beer of choice and we liked it so much, we took cans to go. Perfect hazy IPA! (We live 3 miles from a Tree House brewery so this is saying a lot!)“

“I finally had the chance to go to The Riverworks since the new owners and I'm so glad I did! I was greeted with a smile and sat with a friend at a great little table for two. We both had a strong and tasty drink and a beer with the absolutely delicious beer-battered chicken tenders and a charcuterie board. It's a really cozy, intimate place to hang out and I would go back in a heartbeat!“

Add yourself to the list & pop over to Good Juju or walk down to the boat launch and say hi to the town ducks while you're waiting. My personal favorites are the Down East French Toast - stuffed with maple walnut cream cheese and topped with my choice of fruit usually raspberries & the Dwight (insanely good) & lately the Green Chili Burrito - blueberry pancakes the perfect add on & the muffins!- grilled with butter of course. “Came to Dover NH for the eclipse and ended up at Fury's. Made it just in the knick of time for happy hour. Had 2 "expensive" draft beers (fiddlehead, allagash) for the low price of 7.98 total. Atmosphere is sick, you can literally order a beer from the moon. If you're from ireland, you'll feel right at home. If you want to play pool, you'll feel right at home. If you wanna drink on the couch, you'll feel right at home.Didn't eat any food here, but judging from the sight and smell of the tables, I wish I had.What I'm telling you is, COME HERE!“

“my husband and I stopped in for a late lunch, I had the special, Guinness beef stew pot pie (which was recommended by our waitress Trinity,who by the way is a sweetheart!!! So far, we’ve really enjoyed any and all food we’ve ordered between apps and dinner, absolutely no complaints there. They have a ton of fun and unique drinks that are always delicious and easy to sip. It can get a little loud when they’re busy (which is quite often during dinner time) but the atmosphere is perfectly moody and somewhat hipster feeling which we really enjoy. Sonny’s is one of our go to’s if we’re looking for some good drinks and good American food.“

“The food was good as was the service. Only thing though was there only seemed to be one server and they grouped everyone into a small cluster of booths rather than spreading the groups out. It felt kike we were setting too close in a sparsely occupied restaurant.“

“Was late night Friday and not many places were open but we knew they were till 12 midnight so we stopped in and got dinner. If remember correctly they had about 10 beers on tap including local brewers beers which was nice they also had speciality drinks as well after ordering drinks we ordered a Bacon burger,Buffalo fingers and mozzarella sticks. The burger was great and the appetizers came out in minutes and were awesome! The menu didn't have any desert listed but we asked and they said they had a strawberry shortcake desert with ice cream and a brownie desert as well so we happily ordered both and they came out looking delicious and were not small in size. Both were great! It was a cold late night so it was quite in there but it looks as if there's normally a band and there's a bar and tables out on the back deck which is directly on the river and there's boats docked all along the back of restaurants. Definitely a cool place to eat on a summer night. I've heard it's really busy in summer time and on weekends and I could see why. There's tons of tvs, and lottery to play while you wait!“

“I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but I met a friend here for dinner. We shared the artichoke dip for an appetizer, and I had a penne and chicken special. I appreciated that the food was hot ? (temperature wise), but my pasta dish lacked flavor. The cream sauce was too plain for me.I've been to this restaurant before since it is convenient for my traveling friends, and even though the food isn't great, the service always is. I give them 5 stars for great service!“
