“We LOVE Loretta Restaurant. It is our favorite go to for a girl's luncheon, a romantic dinner, or a dinner out with friends. “We eat at Betty's Kitchen at least once each time we come to Rye. We love this place for the comfort food breakfast. The menu has plenty of choices for egg omelettes, pancakes, French Toast, meats, and sides without the menu being too long. Absolutely have to try it.Parking: Parking is plentiful.“

“A local hole in the wall tucked away in downtown Hampton. The menu is simple fairly priced and everything is made to order. Staff are friendly service was quick and we did not wait long for the food to arrive. Great selection of toast and pastries. No frills but worth a visit. Off street parking makes it easy to access.“

“If you are looking for frills with your meal, this isn't the place for you. This is more of a hole in wall spot where the locals tend to hang out and they only accept cash. With that said we walked in and were told to seat where we wanted. We grabbed a booth and we were asked if we wanted coffee. Sure we yelled back and the waitress showed up at our table with a coffee pot, the mugs were already on the table. So was the plastic ware (remember I said NO frills) and napkins, as well as the sugar and butter, she brought some creamer with her. During the week they have lunch specials, however they have reasonable prices and large portions. We each got the number 4, which came with 2 eggs any style, a meat choice, and toast. We also each ordered a muffin. If you made it this far, don't be surprised when your food comes out on styrofoam plates (I said NO FRILLS!), but the food was good, I liked the plum muffin that was heated up and I had lots of laughs just listening to Uda, as she is a straight shooter. I will say that the lady who recommended it called herself a foodie and this is NOT where a foodie would normally send someone as this is stuff that is simple but good with NO FRILLS but will get you full and not break your pockets. With that, if I'm ever back in the area, I'll be back!“

“I've been to Tour on several occasions - dinner with my daughter, date night with my husband and a larger event/bday party. The simulators are a lot of fun, and if you are not into golf, it is also just a great restaurant to enjoy in town. They also have a nice bar and several screens for watching any type of sporting event. Definitely a great place to check out!“

“We had a fantastic dinner. An extra bonus was watching the chefs cook, they were like an orchestra so coordinated. The sitting had 26 diners. The menu changes every week. We had bean soup, a choice of smoked salmon salad w potato or polenta with pork ragu, chicken with spinach or cod with carrots, beef with potato and red cabbage or pork and lentils, toffee pudding or funnel cake ( fried dough). Everything was delicious, there was not a single dish that we did not love. Service was attentive and friendly. We will be back!“

Not all beers are great but you can sample them and find something suitable. Beer flights are $13 and the pours are generous.I love the ambiance and the coziness of the booths against the wall.They often have live music which, most recently, was quite awful. Fortunately, the volume was low enough on the restaurant side to make it bearable.I love the service and, in summer, they have a huge outdoor seating area that is dog friendly.“

“I have eaten at Park Lunch a few times for lunch. It is a pub/tavern atmosphere. The service has always been polite and attentive. I have never had a bad meal here. I especially enjoyed their fried clams and Tuna Melt. You can't go wrong here, especially for fried seafood!“

“Dined at Seaglass for first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday. There were six of us. I gave it 4 stars vs 3 based on atmosphere, views and experience. Restaurant was not full on Friday night so we sat by the window. Views of the ocean and waves even at night are amazing. Restaurant itself has a great vibe and nice lighting. Food and service were not as great. Good for an average restaurant but for a $500 bill, I'd expect a higher level of service and food quality. Service was somewhat slow and not as attentive as you'd expect, but server was friendly and doing her best. Our group had a range of entrees from lobster rolls to filet and baked haddock. Lobster rolls were excellent, as was the burger. Haddock was just OK and catch of the day was average. Entrees only come with 1-2 small sides, no salads. I'd visit again for the views of the ocean and recommend sticking with a more basic entree for the price.“

The herradurra reposado was flowing and so was the allagash white. The buffalo cobb salads are the best. Please dont change them! “We were driving forever in Newbury and Newburyport to find a decent breakfast place and for some reason our efforts were thwarted at every turn. We stumbled upon Marie's and it was the answer to our hungry prayers. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, good coffee and very reasonable prices. Great, friendly service. Across the street from Starbucks is Cantina Vida.The parking lot is currently under repair and building of a new structure.“

“Locals is a classic example of a sports bar. They have improved over the years but still stick to their roots. On this particular visit, we noticed how they hustled to keep everyone happy on Saint Patrick's Day. They are great at what they do.This restaurant has a massive bar, multiple TVs to watch sports, and games such as dart boards. Perfect place to catch up with friends. The drinks are STRONG! Each time I visit I can only handle one. As for the food, it is decent. If you stick to the apps and comfort food you will be satisfied. If you're looking for a drink and to watch a game, I recommend Locals.“

“Went to their new location right next to their old one . I had my parents 50th wedding anniversary there at the old one many years ago . Was a big success ! The new one which I was not aware had been changed over from the old location was absolutely fantastic. We went at 2 pm for an Easter reservation ! The food was absolutely wonderful ! The service was as good as the food ! We are on the second level ! The place is spotless ! Clean and new ! Our waitress was amazing ! She was right there from beginning to end making sure we had enough water and drinks were full etc ! The kitchen helpers who assisted with the food delivery were fantastic ! They helped the waitress out perfectly! It was very busy as it was Easter ! The food was ordered, muscles. Sushi, which is excellent ! And steak tips and apple filled raviolis and a had a Caesar with chicken tips ! Calamari my son had was excellent ! There was not one thing to complain about. All the other guests around us were getting great service and their food was served very quickly I noticed! The Host and Hostess at the front door greeted us promptly and on our leaving were greeted and thanked for coming. Al I will say is , we will be back ! The new roof top deck looks awesome! It overlooks Newburyport while also being private from onlookers walking below. ! The place gets 5 stars hands down ! Great job Black cow and all the workers on a busy Easter holiday ! Thank you !“

Their Mickey Mouse pancakes (among others), avocado toast, and omelets are amazing. “I have continually gone there with friends for lunch. We usually order the platter for one at lunchtime is plenty of food for two people I have done this at least 20 times. Nothing changes everything is perfect. We get the combination onion rings and french fries with it. It comes with haddock clams scallops shrimp just amazing wonderful seafood, the best on the North Shore. I've been going there since they open four years ago and I've never had anything bad. All their luncheon specials are really a deal , the seafood is fantastic clam chowder, perfect coleslaw, perfect and their steak tips and steaks are probably the best in the area. I give them five stars and would give them them more if I could.“

“The small burger chain, Lexie's, should not be missed. They have a handful of locations in Massachusetts and NH. The one in Newburyport is on the main drag and is easy to get to. The dining room is small but clean and bright with neat artwork on the walls. Piped in music was not too loud. The staff is friendly and engaging. Their burgers are just the right size, never too big and not too small. Delightfully messy and tasty! Their fries are perfect and can be ordered in a few different ways. Definitely stop for lunch or dinner!“

We got a glazed which was delicious, a sea salt chocolate that was really good, a maple which was probably my favorite, and a glazed chocolate cake donut which is the reason for the 4 stars. The cake donut was dry. I don't know if their cake donuts are supposed to be as dry as this donut was but we didn't finish it. Their regular brioche donuts are fantastic but I can't recommend skipping the cake donuts enough.“

It just seem like Portsmouth has no late night options other than Gilly's and the Canolli place on Congress St, and neither offer sitdown service“
