“We enjoyed dinner at the Van Horn estate this week, our third visit but first with the new menu. Started with kale Caesar salad and fish chowder followed by halibut and locally sourced steak (ribeye), all delicious. The lobster pappardelle, which we had on a prior visit, is still on the menu and highly recommended with generous lobster portions. We’ve also enjoyed the fish tacos, farm salad, charcuterie and deviled eggs in the Bistro, great flavors. Service in both dining rooms is friendly and attentive and the property has a wonderful ambience.“

“We had our wedding here in May of 2024. To say our day was perfect is an understatement. Zach and Jen worked with us to create a perfect, magical evening with our family and closest friends. The food was amazing, staff was fantastic and the views for picture taking were beautiful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Covered Bridge, I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone. If you are looking for a small intimate setting to celebrate your special day, look no further because you just found the perfect place. ♥️“

“The bartender Lily is always great she's very personable and friendly and always remembers our drink order. I tried the wagyu meatloaf last night with macaroni and cheese and spinach and it was honestly the best meal I have had in a long time. I also like the little added touches like packing up leftovers for the customer, which most places don't do any longer. My husband and I always look forward to our nights out at the Canoe!“

“Took some time to visit Camp in Meredith during vacation. My partner and I have never been and made the decision to have dinner there on a Friday night. First impression, we loved the atmosphere. It’s cozy and comfortable. We ordered drinks and each one was phenomenal. We ordered cabin dip for our appetizer and we fought over the last bite. My partner ordered the steak and I had the meatloaf. Both dishes were delicious and decent sized portions as well. I wish we had room for dessert. The best part of dinner though was our amazing server, Landon! He was attentive, welcomed us warmly, we shared laughs and he just was a wonderful smiling face. I would 100% recommend trying Camp out and will definitely be visiting again.“

“No one in area compares to The Sunset Grill. Their fish and chips is ALWAYS EXCELLENT. CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT. A great portion of fish with perfect breading. I don’t drink a lot , but when I do I usually get a Toasted Almond, and they serve a great tasting, HUGE GLASS. I work in a resort not too far away, and they serve in martini glass, use to be a short heavy glass, changed managers so many times, never know what I’ll get; but Sunset G always serves in one of those good 👍 sized beer pint glasses. And the staff is excellent as well.“

“this little local spot is absolutely awesome! Evan, Lindsey, Savanna, and Kelly are absolutely amazing. I've been staying up here and coming here daily and have tried half of the food menu and I've loved every single thing. such a fun atmosphere and great food and even better staff. Without a doubt my new favorite spot in Meredith. Make sure to stop in and tip your server/bartender well too! 10 out of 10!“

“We always stop here when in Plymouth, normally for shows at The Flying Monkey. It's nothing fancy, but the interior is pleasant, the staff is always great and the food comes in yummy BIG servings. There's even fresh bread with butter, cheese or oil to add. Our last trip had my wife ordering a Haddock Dinner which she enjoyed very much while my Chicken Fingers were great. Very good fries with both of them and I had enough left over for lunch the next day. Their hamburgers/sandwiches are very tasty and the fajitas can't be beat. They just added pizza to the menu and it's most agreeable. A large selection of beers (I don't drink, but certainly a lot to choose from) , appetizers and desserts. The latter can be expensive, but I'm normally too full to try them anyway.“
