“Decent option for large portion lunch specials.

Been in Lowell quite a bit lately and stopped by twice to try their lunch specials. Both times, I was the only person dining in, though there were a few takeout orders going out. The owner was super friendly and while the restaurant seemed like a single man operation, everything came out quick.

The food. The portions for most dishes were easily double what I’d expected from a typical appetizer/ lunch specials. Unfortunately, the overall quality was subpar. Some small plates, like the spare ribs, were clearly reheated in the microwave, and the excess moisture from the thawing process was clearly visible on the bottom of the plate. General Tso’s chicken had thick and soggy breading and very little meat, which made it a carb-heavy bite. Since it had been fried and frozen beforehand, it tasted almost identical to one of those frozen Chinese chicken plates from grocery stores. Thankfully, the pork belly dishes held better even after freezing. Both the garlic chili pork belly and the double cooked pork belly were genuinely enjoyable.

Overall, better than food-court Chinese, but not quite on par with average Boston Chinese restaurants. Lowell’s Chinese food scene is pretty underwhelming, so it might be worth a stop if you’re looking for an inexpensive yet filling meal.“

I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. “This definitely my new favorite Chinese take out. The only dish I go for is the General's Chicken with fried rice. I love how the sauce for the chicken is so sweet and with a smidge of a kick. The meal does come with 2 sides. Didn't know it at the time, but Coke counts as a side. The 2nd being crab rangoons. Can't recall how it tastes because the General Chicken comes out piping out and I sometimes forget and burn my tongue. All in all, I have been here several times for the same items every time.“

“Food was alright I asked for extremely spicy mei fun and the waiter looked at me crazy and it still wasn't spicy enough for me and when I asked for chopsticks he asked if I knew how to use them and was surprised after I was done eating that I actually knew how to use them.“

“Family run place with a great owner! Jenny makes this place special and somehow has always remembers us even when it’s a long time between visits.

You can get westernized food here, but it’s got to be one of the only places outside of metro Boston where you can get authentic Szechuan cuisine. I haven’t had Mapo Tofu this good since I was in China.

“My partner and I really enjoy the food at Lake East! It's one of the only American Chinese food places that serves the barbeque pork strips I really like. We've gone here twice, the first time was two years ago when we were staying in the area and we liked it so much we decided to go back last night for take out again. I would definitely say it's more of a take out location than an eat in location but the food is good and I would recommend!“

“This was our first time dining in at Super Wok and it did NOT disappoint.

Our party consisted of 4 adults and 3 kids, everyone enjoyed their food and the service was very quick.

Orders consisted of:

Multiple Low mein(s), shrimp fried rice (lots of shrimp), general gao’s chicken (very crispy and sauce was excellent), lemon chicken (sliced cutlets very tender and lemon sauce was sweet), and sweet and sour chicken.

Also ordered was edamame (kid approved!), crab rangoons, scallion pancake, and egg rolls. Somehow we almost cleared it all - an accomplishment if you saw the portions.

Food was very fresh, flavorful, generous portions and quick service that is always appreciated with kids or when extra hungry.

100% would go back in person. Next time I’ll get some photos before it’s all gone!“

“So we had a long day. My dad had a stroke so I had spent the last two days driving back and forth to boston. We have 2 kids and we did not want to cook We wanted some Chinese food and decided on lucky panda. We had placed our order with grub hub at 525 which was a mistake. Grub hub delayed our order 3x. After 2nd delay I called lucky panda to see if the order was finished and it was. I informed the girl on the phone that I would be there in 15 mins to pick it up because grub hub had now delayed our order for the third time. And wouldn't be here until 730 after an initial 630 delivery eta. We informed grub hub to return our delivery fees as we would be picking up our order. 10 mins into my drive lucky panda called and said grub hub had just picked up our food and they were trying to save me a hassle which i greatly appreciated. Lucky panda exceeded our customer service expectations and we will be definitely be going back because even though grub hub delivered the food late and some of it was cold it was still tasty after heating it up. Thanks again to the staff for trying to help us out tonite.“

“I've been going here for over 10 years. I love the crab rangoon. And all the food. But , they must spend a fortune in printing menus because they always charge you more than what the menu says and then they tell you that the menu is old. I'm posting a picture of two menus that I just got in the past month. Another picture is what I just got online, I took a screenshot. And it also says that the menu was updated 2 days ago. So if the menu was updated two days ago and as you can see in the picture it says $10 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. When I get there she says it's a $15 minimum for Visa or MasterCard. So she charges me an extra dollar. Besides the fact, that I was charged more than the price of the menu I just got last week. And she says don't you have any cash? I said no. She always asks for cash. And then she up charges me. She's a little tiny lady with a sweet little voice. But also a very big scam artist. I always support local businesses. But I do not support you taking my hard earned money out of my pocket. And then saying oh well. After over 10 years I'm done. There's plenty of other places to go. If you try to call her out on her scamming, she say to leave now. I don't need that kind of drama.“

“Kids really enjoyed today’s meal! The Black Pepper Chicken and Honey Chicken were delicious. Prices are very reasonable from 1 entrée and 1 side, 2 entrées and 1 side, to large and family meals upto $40. Definitely worth picking up from! So glad to have Panda Express here in Nashua.“

“Good value and the food is good, and usually quick service. Always nice and never rude. They offer tables you can sit at and eat but this is primarily a take-out location. Usually a 15-20 minute wait for orders you call in.

Big fan of the beef lo mein, chicken wings and chicken teriyaki, egg foo young, and all the soups. I like the way lilac blossom does Mongolian beef a lot more, but yang yang does a better lo mein (lilac is pretty dry, i like the amount and flavor of the sauce that yang yang uses). The chicken wings and chicken teriyaki are very good. The fried rice is alright, I think lilac blossom wins there. Yang Yang has way better prices for everything compared to lilac though. They also consistently pack the food containers full.

The food is not super high end here. I think lilac blossom offers more high end food but at a substantially higher cost. Yang Yang is an excellent affordable option for takeout especially if you stick to the items they do well. I have gone here for years and years, as well as other places as well for comparison. Yang Yang is a good place to get a decent quick meal that's affordable.

Parking: They have several spots directly in front of the business. This is in a small plaza with plenty of parking at adjacent businesses.“

Wasn't aware they didn't take American Express, because it was a gift card given to me as an early Christmas present.
I couldn't take money out at an atm because,well gift card.
Went back cause I didn't want them thinking I disappeared after time was spent towards making the food & I said I couldn't pay for it.
A very nice lady told me it's ok & I can next time.

“Moving from Boston to nashu this is the closest to good good as I am use to. Other places I have tried local not even close. Give them a try.

Update. 3-19-25 just order tonight and I don't know if they sold the place but the food was barely edible. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Chicken fingers seemed like they had sat around and they reheated them. The portions are much smaller u used get 2 or 3 meals out of their dinner meals not anymore they also increased prices but instead of keeping portions the same they cut them and pocketing more money at the cost of the customers which is a shame. The leftovers went into the trash“
