We tried a variety of dishes, starting with a deluxe sampler plate featuring oysters, clams, shrimp cocktail, and smoked salmon that impressed with its freshness and generous portions. For the main course, the Ahi tuna steak and Korean BBQ scallops were both cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, offering excellent quality that justified the portions. I especially appreciated how the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to accommodate substitutions, such as swapping asparagus for another vegetable. The espresso martini was a highlight in the cocktail selection—smooth and expertly made. Most of the meals we have ordered have been good. We have been upcharged by a lot (doubled the price of an entree) for substitutions like shrimp instead of sausage even when there is a shrimp dish with a similar price to my original order.“

“This place is great! Tasty burgers - I had beef and my wife had black bean. She has high standards for veggie burgers and really enjoyed it. She got the burning down the house version and loved the flavor. I got the classic and really enjoyed it. Bistro fries were very flavorful and crispy.

One comment is I ordered burger medium and it had no color. Was still juicy and I’m not picky so I still enjoyed it. Just a caution to folks who prefer their meat less well done.

I get it without egg and no meat. i enjoy dining in for the stone pot that crisps the rice, but also enjoy take out. everything is wrapped up good and safe. my family manages a severe nut allergy and eat here safely weekly.“

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

“On our way back to Rhode Island from Maine, we looked up Thai restaurants and took a chance. It was well worth the stop. I had a Pad Thai dish with chicken and shrimp and the jumbo garlic shrimp on broccoli. Both dishes were delicious. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant.“
