“We’ve had a home on the lake for more than 50 years and, this evening, is the first time we visited this outstanding, hidden gem, fun, vibrant, wonderful, restaurant. Our server, Pam, is beyond superb… Friendly, great sense of humor, faster than greased lightning, and the food was tremendous. We were in and out in 35 minutes, the food was delivered piping hot to our table, delivered to us faster than we had time to close the menu after ordering, wonderful place and we will return many times again. “Leslie and her team are phenomenal! Off the charts amazing. We first meet Leslie to taste test our wedding menu, we were pretty boring just saying we wanted tacos, we got to her adorable place and she had different kinds of meat, the fixings, cold corn salad, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and gosh it was all so good. Leslie was very responsive and her team showed up timely and set up and they were so friendly. they served buffet style and cleared tables for us. They packed up all the left over food and told me where they put It and the cleaned up like spotless, you never would’ve known they were there! The food was amazing and I tell everyone about Ballroom Catering! Thank you Leslie and team!“

“We were in town for a wedding at their event barn. We stayed at the Inn and had dinner at the OBistro. All were very nice! Rooms are cozy and clean. Dinner was delicious! The wedding was beautiful. Such a beautiful, quaint, and fun venue! All the staff were friendly and very accommodating!“

“Great food, slow service, but worth the stop\n\nWe were a group of five staying nearby and looking for a good local spot to get dinner before settling in. This place popped up with several great reviews, so we gave it a shot. The food definitely delivered!\n\nWe ordered the sampler (with double chicken tenders and potato skimmers), two orders of mozzarella sticks, and the mac & cheese with ribs. Everything came out hot and packed with flavor. We even got onion rings which we didn’t order but were happy to see. Total comfort food and worth the wait. I also had the Painkiller cocktail, which was strong but definitely hit the spot.\n\nThat said, service was slow across the board. It took a while just to get acknowledged, then more time to get drinks, even more for the food, and the bill took a while too. They were clearly busy, and our server Jen was friendly and attentive when she was with us, but the wait times added up.\n\nThe atmosphere felt very “homey” kind of like a small town hangout where everyone knows each other. As someone who rocks an afro, I definitely stood out, the place lacked diversity and that was noticeable. Still, we didn’t feel unwelcome, just very aware of it.\n\nOverall, it’s a cozy, homey spot with great food. Just go in knowing it might be a slow-paced experience, especially on a busy night.“

“Stopped here during our car ride to our vacation house (back in August) to stretch our legs, grab a snack, and enjoy a very necessary mid-day beer. I’m vegan, so the sign out front that said “NOT ENOUGH VEGAN OPTIONS” made me laugh out loud. It was perfect, first thought was it must have been a review. Love that humor. Also, somehow the only photo I took that day was of that sign.

The owner, or management — hard to say but clearly someone who cares, was there with (his) kids and was incredibly kind. He took time to show my son the amazing wall art and pointed out all the fun details, which instantly won us over.

Beer-wise: plenty of funky options (and yes, beer is typically vegan). They were totally cool with my modified order, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. Great humor, awesome artwork, very kid-friendly, and an easygoing, inclusive atmosphere.

Bonus points for being partially veteran- and female-owned, and clearly committed to local, slow, and thoughtful food.

We stopped by to kill a little time and left really thankful for the experience. Would absolutely stop again.“

“They are now making the best thin crust pizza anywhere. But if you want a classic toasted Italian sub, don't order it here. Maybe they grew up in someplace other than the east coast, but even with coaching, they don't know what "toasted" is, where the bun gets a bit crunchy, the cheese is well melted and the meat is hot and losing its juices to the bun. Like another poster described, very much like a Market Basket sandwich.“
