“La Boca is the beat restaurant in Wolfeboro, and likely in the Lakes region. We had the 4 course fixed menu and were enchanted with each course. The amouse bouche to start and cheese platter at the end were also divine. Amazing to find such gourmet dishes and presentation in this area. This restaurant is a MUST visit.“
“We used Marker 21 for both our rehearsal dinner/welcome reception and after party for our wedding. The food was INCREDIBLE, the staff was amazing- they kept the drinks flowing all night both nights. They had delicious kids meals for my daughter and nieces. Everybody raved about the Mac n cheese bites, the street corn salad, and the carne asada fries. i can’t say enough good things. Josh and Nicole are amazing at what they do- they were great at communicating with me, helping me make menu choices that would pair well, they were warm and inviting and you could really tell they love what they do. “Was there on a busy Saturday afternoon. Only one bartender and two servers to handle a busy crowd. They did a great Job. Also saw the owner checking on customers and assisting the staff as needed. A good pub atmosphere with a good pub menu.“
“We live in Sicily and have relatives who live in Massachusetts and Barnstead. While visiting in Barnstead we decided to take a chance and walked into this place. Tucked in back was a pizzeria and we decided from the aroma it was a good choice. Our pizza was ordered with light sauce and crispy!!!Let me tell you something!!!! The pizza was spectacular! “B’s has some of the best food in town. I’m a frequent flyer. Try some of the refrigerated meals to reheat. I’ve had some fantastic beef stroganoff, Korean beef bulgoki, chicken shawarma, beef stew. The wraps are all good, chicken crunch wraps, and phat wraps. And they’re recently expanded their walk in beer cave with a good selection for a small market. Excellent!“
“We arrived in time for our 6pm reservation and it took a while for our server to find us. Not sure why, but once she arrived and introduced herself it was smooth sailing. Wine and appetizers (brussel sprouts) were excellent and the service and kitchen were very quick to get our food out to us. We had meatloaf dinner and prime rib. Both were excellent! Will definitely go back!“

“Went for book club night, was great... As usual, consistent, never disappointed with food or beer (only place around can say that.) And most is amazing next level. The do one page menu very well, have some dependable great brews with rotating interesting stuff sets them up to be great.Kid-friendliness: They have their kids there and others bring often so while it is a brewery, its friendly.“
“My wife and I stopped by Johnson's Marketplace not knowing anything about it, we were greeted by a very employee (early Sunday morning)we just wanted a simple breakfast sandwich, while he was on the grill we had a chance to look around I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and the organization of all of the displays of fresh cut meats and seafood followed by a large display soda, beer ,wine. Buy the way my sauge ,cheese,egg and hard roll was over the top.“
“We were happy to find a place that had buck a shuck oysters close to home. The atmosphere is perfect. Cozy, classy, with a wide open view of the lake. The cocktails were amazing. Absolutely perfect. We didn't try much of the menu because we were gorging on oysters and tacos, but will be back soon to try the rest! Not sure how we missed this unassuming space. We've lived down the road for 20 years.“
“Stopped in for the very first time since living here! The food was delicious, I had a grilled shrimp sandwich wrap which was prepared deliciously. Husband has a fried haddock sandwich! He enjoyed every bit of it as it was so big that two people could have eaten it. Service was excellent, Sue was the best. Definately a great find. Will be returning to try many other delicious items on menu as well.“
“I was looking for something different in the area and found this cute cozy bar/restaurant with amazing food reviews.The food was really delicious! The lobster bisque was perfect. The prime rib, mashed and asparagus were also very yummy - served Fri/Sat nights. My friend had the fish tacos and loved that they were made with haddock, they weren’t fried, and the sriracha cream on them was just enough kick. We had a beer on tap which was good, though there wasn’t a huge selection and that’s ok there was just enough variety for everyone. They had a couple cocktail specials posted and full bar too.The sign warned outside for staffing shortage and to be patient which is to be expected now a days. However, our server/bartender was fabulous and the food came out hot and fresh.Prices were very reasonable and the vibe was lively but also comfy. I’ll definitely be back.Oh and they are closed Tuesdays. If you really love tacos, get them elsewhere on Tuesday and double down that week because they have $2 tacos on Wednesday instead!“
