“Haven't been to Pops in awhile but vacationing in the area and had to go. As usual, everything was delicious! We shared the seafood platter for two and tried a small order of the calamari. Everything was great; not greasy at all. The batter was light and crunchy. The cole slaw was also very good. We arrived a half hour after opening and once we sat down to eat, the line was extremely long. Highly recommend; never had a bad seafood dish here. One thing, years ago, onion rings were included with the seafood platter; now it's an upcharge if you want them included. I did take a picture of the seafood platter, but forgot to take it before we started eating.“

“We were in town for a wedding at their event barn. We stayed at the Inn and had dinner at the OBistro. All were very nice! Rooms are cozy and clean. Dinner was delicious! The wedding was beautiful. Such a beautiful, quaint, and fun venue! All the staff were friendly and very accommodating!“

“I don’t know who is running Burnt Timber, but they deserve some sort of award. I walked in exhausted, running on fumes, and somehow left feeling like I’d just come back from a week-long vacation.

First of all, the owner… whoever approved that hat deserves a raise. It instantly transported me to a beach bar in Havana where my only responsibility was deciding whether to order another drink. I can’t explain it, but the hat has powers.

The atmosphere is absolutely electric. I went from wanting a nap to wondering if I should cancel the rest of my day and just hang out there forever.

The staff? Somehow they assembled the Avengers of hospitality. It felt like every favorite bartender, server, and personality from all the best spots around town got together and decided to create the ultimate dream team. Friendly, hilarious, attentive, and somehow making it all look effortless.

If you’re looking for average, keep driving. If you’re looking for incredible food, unforgettable vibes, and an experience that makes you question whether you’ve accidentally been transported somewhere in Havanna that’s much cooler than your hometown… Burnt Timber is the place.

“They are now making the best thin crust pizza anywhere. But if you want a classic toasted Italian sub, don't order it here. Maybe they grew up in someplace other than the east coast, but even with coaching, they don't know what "toasted" is, where the bun gets a bit crunchy, the cheese is well melted and the meat is hot and losing its juices to the bun. Like another poster described, very much like a Market Basket sandwich.“

The food was very good and my steak tips were amazing. When I get back to new hampshire next time we will have a return trip here.“
