“Cool place. Not what you expect when you walk in. Pretty good bar menu and the food we ordered was very good. Rumor has it it gets busy at night as there are dart boards and a pool table and it's the last place in town to close. Owner says a lot of new items will soon be added to the menu. All in all I will be back for sure. If you are not into the hectic nightlife it is still a great place to get a quick bite at the bar.“

“This is hands down my favorite place to eat in Lawrence. I keep coming back because they never disappoint. The owner is one of the nicest, hardest-working people you'll meet, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and the food he serves.

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and the portions are huge for the price. Whether I order on DoorDash or stop in myself, everything always arrives hot, fresh, and exactly how I ordered it. They're also open late, which is a huge plus when you're craving good food at night. It's become my go-to spot because I know they'll be there.

“Tonight is my husbands birthday and this being his favorite restaurant it was a no brainer to come. He has just had a pretty major surgery which affects how he eats quite a bit and I just have to say Melissa and Dave (he was training I’m sorry if I got the wrong name) were absolutely AMAZING. They made the whole night so enjoyable even though my husband struggled through eating. They were also amazing with our two kids! I have never been a huge fan of the TGIF menu but even the food was wonderful tonight. Even if it was awful, I’d come back for these two amazing servers ANY day. “Everything is cooked to order. This is the best fast food you will find anywhere in Lawrence. They have amazing roast beef, cooked fresh in the restaurant. The drive thru is open late and the prices are excellent. Terrific value for what you get.“

“There was a school fundraiser the night I went and it was slammed- took a (comparatively) long time to get our food BUT with a lot of grumpy customers and a packed house, the Five Guys working were still good sports, worked their tails off, and stayed positive. I thought that was really cool.“

“Looking for something to have for dinner we found that in Lawrence there is a cart that said: Chimi, as a good Chimi taster we went to try it.
We got to the food cart and ordered, to our surprise, the chimis were NOT Chimis but rather Sandwich Type: Leg, Chicken or Beef.

We didn't understand why they associate Chimi with meat sandwiches, which I can say was delicious ?.
