“If you are traveling to Rye, head here for breakfast and lunch. Easy to pop off the beach. Took a Labor Day trip to Rye and ate breakfast here with my spouse three mornings in a row. I loved the lox bagel, avocado toast, common roots burrito, teas and espresso. We also shopped in the store for drinks and grocery. What a diamond of a business! One of the baristas with long dark hair was a real sweetheart every morning. Really kind staff, lots of locals popping in. I am very grateful for the honesty of the business as I left my purse there and Frank the GM (who makes hot sauce!) returned it to me. Great business!“

“Stopped in for our first time to grab some lunch, and wow! Absolutely delicious!!! We got the chicken salad and the Italian and both were the freshest tasting sandwiches we’ve had in a long time! I was so excited to see that they use boars head for their meat and it comes with a generous portion to say the least!! We are hooked!! The owners are very nice and transformed this spot beautifully! I can’t forget to mention that I had to grab the Shain’s of Maine cookie dough ice cream as a family favorite treat!! If you’re in the area definitely make a stop in!! I can’t wait to try more of their menu and the soups they have to offer!! 🙌🏼 10/10!“

“I decided to try a new spot for an early lunch and I’m so glad I did. The food was delicious. The mozzarella sticks were a huge standout , honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, which is surprising coming from a kosher café that you wouldn’t expect to specialize in them. Highly recommend!

I also had the falafel pita and it was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and super filling. I’ll definitely be back.

My only con is the location. I wish they were closer to the downtown area because I know they’d be nonstop busy. But even tucked away where they are, they’re absolutely worth the visit.“

“Fast and very friendly service, food is awesome! We had;
-monster wrap(3eggs!) and jalapeno; it is spicy, but just right if you like spicy stuff. The sauce is excellent.
-croissant with eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese homemade sauce; definitely a favorite! I highly recommend it (1st item on the menu)
-Iced latte; strong aroma coffee but not excessive. It's not watery or with too much ice like other fast food places.
They serve panini around 11h.
They do have a full breakfast menu too. Lot of room to sit inside and small table outside.“

“I’ve been working for companies at Pease on and off for a dozen years now and Belle Peppers has been my go-to lunch spot for just as long. In addition, my company frequently orders catering from them so I don’t think I go more than a couple of days without eating something from Belle Peppers. The staff is always friendly and I’ve never had a disappointing experience. It definitely gets busy around lunchtime but if you go there regularly like me you know how to get in and get out quickly. Try the spicy chicken sandwich!“

“I remember when the cafe was under construction 🚧. I finally had a chance to visit and I am glad I did!
Very friendly service. I had the Upstream with an Asiago bagel 🥯 with smoked salmon, pickled onion 🧅, avocado 🥑 and chive cream cheese. Delicious 😋!
The service really shined when I asked if they had chocolate 🥐 croissants. I was offered a Nutella Croissant which is a croissant sliced with Nutella in the center. Strawberries 🍓 are sliced and placed with it. Also delicious!
The medium roast drip coffee ☕ was really good!
Both my orders were brought to where I was sitting. The inside is nice 👍 with window 🪟 and couch 🛋️ seating.
Update: August 2025; The Cable Asiago Bagel 🥯 Sandwich was delicious 😋! I am not a fan of blueberry 🫐 muffins but the one I had was heated and served with a tasty butter 🧈. It washed down my coffee ☕ rather well!

“This was our first time here. We were warmly greeted and felt the welcoming atmosphere right away! Our waitress Rayna was very friendly and at my husband’s prompting eagerly gave us her recommendations which were spot on. I ordered sausage & gravy Benedict & my husband ordered the homemade corned beef Benedict which both served on large crispy English muffins ! The corned beef was crispy too and the portions were large with select side of home fries also seasoned well! So good! Come to find out our waitress parent’s are our neighbors ! Small world! We will definitely be back !“

“The service is pretty typical of youth run franchise salad places. The communication is awkward and halting and brusk. They definitely appear as if you've interrupted an important tiktok video and are annoyed at your presence. The salads are good and it works if you are just grabbing lunch and going otherwise it's oddly sterile and unwelcoming“

We went in on a Sunday and it was pretty busy, we ordered, got our food to go, went out to the car and when we opened the bag we were disappointed to see that the soup we got was half full, missing the baguette, and the 2 bagels were cold. I walked back inside and Brendan greeted me again and I explained to him our issue. With 0 issues he walked back into the kitchen, got my girlfriend a new FULL soup as well with a baguette, and also tossed a cookie in the bag for us.
