We managed to sample a cocktail created by each of the mixologists working... we coverd a lot of the menu territory but there is still much more to explore. We're definitely coming back. My wife was overwhelmed with how accommodating they were and the level of seriousness that they took her allergy. I can't begin to tell you how amazing it is for us to go out to eat "like normal families do" and for it to not be a STRICTLY vegan restaurant. My wife told me she was close to tears. I just wanted to thank the staff at this great restaurant for giving them this experience. My wife and daughter are in town for a tour of UNH and I am very happy to know she will have a safe place to hang with friends and get a bite to eat without worry. “Great restaurant! First thing I noticed is the happiness of the employees o thing but smiles. Everyone working helped each other and they seemed to be a team who enjoys working with each other because of that our service was impeccable. From drinks to the food everything was delicious. We started with fried calamari cooked perfectly, we had warm rolls served with soft butter ,roasted garlic and olives. We ordered the salmon and monk fish both cooked with so much flavor and the presentation was beautiful. Then for dessert we ordered the banana cake new on the menu I’m not a sweet eater but this was perfect not too sweet…..definitely everyone should visit this restaurant.“

I have nothing but glowing reviews, and this is the kind of restaurant I aspire to open one day.This is a small, intimate restaurant with an extremely thoughtful and dedicated staff. They have parking available, which is an unusual luxury for Portsmouth. The food is inventive and excellent- modern French cuisine is very apt. Portion sizes are thoughtful to enable you to finish each dish while still craving the next. The gin cocktails are delicious, beautiful, and pair wonderfully with the menu. The FOH was also incredibly considerate towards my boyfriend, who is vegan. Overall, excellent ambience, drinks, food, and service. Botanica is a special experience.
