Ingredients are high quality -- no gristle chicken/ or slimy chicken. Great sauces -- no generic brown sauce that they throw on every dish. Recommend Beef Chow fun, Shrimp lo mein, chicken and broccoli, pot stickers, any soup, etc. Fabulous. I wish they were closer!“

Ordered on door dash & they immediately called me to tell me it’s not gluten free and that they will make me my own sauce. “The first meal I had here was great now the last visit has me cutting them off. I ordered Shrimp with lobster sauce but it came with (imitation) crab meat. Which why? I had to go back and exchange it and then I got dirty shrimp. They should use one of those cleaning machines or cut the whole tail off. If only they’d show more pride in their food. Anyhow be sure to let them know you don’t like imitation meat if that’s your preference.“

“I have moved to this area a few years ago and about a year ago I tried Chan's Garden and finally found my favorite Chinese Restaurant I've been looking for and have been going back every week or two. They do deliver with a 15 dollar minimum and that's sensible but I usually call to place a order that is always ready in 10 minutes. The people who work there that I think are the owners are always so friendly and polite making sure I have everything I need. The boneless spare ribs are the best I ever had and the General Tao's Chicken is out of this world. I also suggest the Chinese pizza and every type of egg rolls and spring rolls are another favorite of mine. I like to try different dishes even dishes I've never tried in my life and I surprised myself how good everything was being a picky eater. A lot of Chinese Restaurants started to use smaller containers which means smaller portions but at Chan's Garden the containers and portions are large and filled to the top with their great food. I'm older and I always forget to take pictures but the next time I go there I'll take some pictures and add them to this review so you can see for yourself.

Parking: It's in a busy strip store and I never had a problem finding a spot close to the restaurant.“

now i'm not gonna lie here folks, i'm not some sorta connoisseur when it comes to chinese food. but what i am a connoisseur of is eating. if i didn't enjoy something, i wouldn't go back. however, this place has me coming back time and time again!

their lo mein and fried rice options are delicious and are my typical pick ups from the joint. not to mention they're fairly priced too.

although, despite the tasty morsels these fine ladies and gents are chefing up. i got a slight bone to pick with them.

i almost always exclusively order delivery from them. and for some reason 9 times outta 10 they confuse my address with my neighbors. it isn't the worst thing in the world, and thank goodness my neighbor isn't some sorta jerk. but it'd be nice if this somehow corrected itself. not sure how, i've tried. believe me. so i guess it is what it is.

all in all though, delivery shenanigans aside here, this place has some tasty treats if you're lookin' for a solid stop that's well priced and conveniently located. so go give them a shot! no doubt you'll have a good time too.“

“We go to the place almost once a month and have never, NEVER, been disappointed. Even with the fruit they sometimes have, it’s so fresh it’s insane. Everything is made to perfection and we will never go anywhere else. Don’t forget to check the fridges btw, really good stuff.

The tempura bowl was beyond. Huge pieces. Only thing I would as for is more sauce. And for only 12 bucks each is amazing.
The Thai mango fried rice was lighter than I expect in color and a bit wetter of a fried rice. It was tasty and a bit sweet. I would like a bit more soy sauce or color.

“Ok, so…I almost left a bad review due to communication errors. My order included egg foo young, in which the gravy was sour/spoiled tasting. I called to notify the restaurant, and originally their resolve was to send out a new gravy…which they did. I was very dissatisfied, as I had poured the gravy all over the dish and requested they remake the dish. My mom drove to the restaurant at 8:00p, immediately upon walking in they knew the order. Once she explained how the gravy was poured over the dish the chef, without hesitation, told her to sit while he remakes it. The dish was remade, new gravy, fresh rice, and a free soda were given. I’ve been a customer for over 30 years and the customer service has always extended beyond that to customer care. I’ll continue to drive past other Chinese’s food establishments to go to Happy Family.“

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they forget 3 things from my order: I ordered 2 quarts of wonton soup but only got 1, 2 orders of crab rangoons but only got 1 and an order of coconut shrimp but didn’t get it! So I called them and they delivered it later, but still forgot to give me white rice for the coconut shrimp so I had to make it! “This is still one of my favorite Chinese Spots, they are super kind and after about two times of ordering know you by number and or voice and never miss. Chicken and Garlic sauce with vegetable combo is Delicious and fresh every time. It is rather spicy also in case you do order!! Rice is always fresh and I never have an issue with any of my other family members orders. It is clean As it is always busy and is kept up. The service is always great and very friendly.

“I hate when people give bad reviews to an authentic restaurant. Most authentic restaurants the owners were not born here and they work tirelessly at their craft. Some of the reviews say they never delivered there food, staff was rude, 1st off they don't deliver and they never have, the owners are hard-working people(husband/wife)daughter works there sometimes and they've always been pleasant to me. I avoided this place for many years and I lived in Williamstown my entire life. NOW...I won't order Chinese food from anywhere else (in this town) I'm addicted to the steamed shrimp dumplings.
