“We were in town for a couple of days for a conference in February 2020 and ate here a couple of times. The samosas were perfect. My pops loved them so much that me & bae ended up going back to order him more for takeout for the flight back home. We ordered the whole chicken. It is seasoned, but I think they deep fried it and season it again once you order it. It was juicy and delicious. We chose vegetable biryani as a side and it was prepared perfectly as well. One of my good friends is Indian and introduced me to most of these dishes when we were in graduate school, so I'm kinda picky. However, the repeat visits to this place goes to show how delicious and affordable the food is! However, service is slow and not exactly all that great - getting eating utensils and water took forever and I just ended up getting utensils from another table & a pitcher of water from the nearby cooler and served my table. Also, our order was never 100% what we actually ordered...“
“Went for the buffet . Price and food were very good. There was mild and 2 spicy dishes for all to enjoy. When I went in there was just 1 other person , then the place quickly filled up and as it did they kept up with replenishing everything in a quick and mannerly fashion . There was a little bit of everything on the line , was pleased with this for I can never decide what I want .Only down fall no toilet paper in bathroom , I seem to notice this in every Indian restaurant I go in . Kind of makes me think .“
“I recently visited this restaurant, their Naan is the best. Desserts and tea was great. Kababs were also very good. But they should improve on chicken tikka masala. I’m still giving a five star because of their quality and quantity. The food was served fresh, the steam was still coming out of the platter.“
“Food was just amazing! Would have loved to try their lunch buffet but we went for dinner. It's not super fancy but place was bright, clean, comfortable, and pleasant - quite large and seemed to have new furniture and decor. Service was excellent. We had the Lamb Roganjosh and Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and Naan.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nizam's, and I was blown away by the exceptional service provided by Sam. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making expert recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The host was also warm and welcoming, making us feel like part of the Nizam's family. Sam's professionalism and dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience were truly impressive. I highly recommend Nizam's and request Sam as your host - she's truly a gem! 5 stars and a big thumbs up from me!"“
“We come to the casinos once or twice a year and try to explore the area when here. As a result, we ended up at the Sri Lanka Restaurant. What a treat! Low key but convenient location. Modest looking inside but, man, the food was excellent. Definite overlap with Indian food but very distinctive flavoring. Everything was nicely cooked, interesting and very tasty. We got the chicken deviled dish, a fish kottu and lamb lumprais. We got the the last two on the owner's recommendation. All very good. We liked the deviled chicken so much that we ordered a second serving. Think the business is only about a half year old. Owner was completely charming, enthusiastic, accessible. These are pretty hard times to be opening a business. Impressively, she did and I'm rooting for her new restaurant. Rooting for her and selfishly I just want the restaurant around for whenever we return. Highly highly recommend“
