“Last night we dined here and everything was excellent, from the service to the food, only thing we didn’t care for and was disappointed in was the crème brûlée, it’s not your typical traditional crème brûlée but everything else was wonderful. Will be back for sure!“

“We had dinner at Chef Vola’s on 9/17/25 to celebrate my Birthday. What an excellent dinner and experience. The service is wonderful and our head waiter Anthony is a great guy who provides the best service. The food is beyond comparing it to another restaurant. My wife had the salmon with special sauces that she said was the best she ever had. The bone in veal parmigiana was the best I have ever had by far and there is no comparison. We had the blush pasta which also was outstanding. Our sincere gratitude to the Chef Vola staff for making my birthday extra special.“

He suggested the Bronzini and it was outstanding. The Broccoli Rabe that came with it was a little on the dry side but the fish was fresh and sauce amazing. “We went over LDW 2025, totally unplanned, and it was only our 2nd time there. We sat at the little bar on the small porch. My husband and I had the absolute best time! What started out as having a couple of drinks ended with many more and a great, upbeat afternoon! Katie was bartending and she was OUTSTANDING! That young lady was ebb and flowing and never skipped a beat and she never stopped being busy while we were there. Drinks were flowing, music was so fun, Katie handled it all like an absolute gem and the food was totally outstanding - absolutely recommend the jerk chicken wings! “Probably the best food at Ocean. Amazing food made to order so the time is a little longer for food but there are plenty of delicious appetizers and drinks to keep you busy. Keeps you separate form the crazy casino area so you feel like you're in a completely different building. A great view of the ocean as well“

“Best Soul Food that I’ve ever had. Huge portions We got the steamers as an appetizer, served in a perfect garlicky broth. We had a fun and energetic server, named Ray. I was debating between the fried chicken or the smothered pork chop and he said “well, Popeyes is everywhere, get the Pork chop” The pork chop did not disappoint! Perfectly seasoned, crispy smothered in gravy and onions. For sides, we both got the Collard Greens, I got the yams and my husband got Mac and Cheese. Best Collard Greens ever! It was Mother’s Day weekend so was very busy… but all and all worth the wait and a fantastic experience.“

“We were 10 and got seated pretty quickly by the jukebox. The music was my jam. The restaurant was somewhat busy and it remained quiet. The food came all at once, the food was good and the prices are decent. The waitress was good, friendly and knowledgeable.
We all had a good time. I will definitely go back and try other options I had selected.
Also, it's almost Halloween and they have a lot of decorations inside and outside. Nicely done.

“My husband and I dined here a couple of times while staying at the casino. We really enjoyed the filet mignon. The first night we had the Kobe steaks but they were a little too fatty just by nature for us. Really enjoyed the Mac & cheese and desserts as well! Service was 10/10“

“When I decided to go there it didn't have much expectations. I just saw it on Google maps and wanted to check it out.
They offer a variety of authentic German beer. The food is mostly more German inspired than authentic, but the Bavarian Pretzel is actually very authentic.
The staff is super nice. I recommend checking the place out if you're ever in the area“

“Any Chef who can get me to like Risotto, which I normally do not, has a round of applause from me! Tried the Salmon with black herbed risotto, and was not disappointed. I thought I would be adventurous 🤷‍♂️ my favorite salmon dish I ever had. Cooked perfectly! And, I not only tolerated the Risotto, I loved it as well. Service was quick. Atmosphere is 1930's like, which they should really go all in for.“

There was a killer band outside playing - father/daughter duo who were amazing and a sax player too! “Where do I begin? The servers were great. Very helpful, attentive and friendly. We visited on two occasions and Kevonna and Yisel were our servers. The cook ,Rodney, did his thing. First the ribs were sooooo tender and flavorful. The chicken wings , you could hear the crunch two tables over...lol. they were delicious. Then breakfast the grits were perfect 👌. “Stopped here for dinner on our vacation and was extremely impressed. The prices were decent! Under $30 including tip for two people. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and they gave her a free sundae! That was also really good. I got a burger and fries, she got a wrap. Both were good portions and delicious! I ate that burger so quick it was freakin incredible. Service was awesome, the waiter was so nice! Definitely a family friendly location. Will definitely be stopping here more than once when we visit next year!!“

“Very good Vietnamese restaurant on Atlantic Avenue main drag. Nice wide area. Attentive and friendly staff & some of the best Vietnamese food we've had anywhere- plan to return as often as possible. Delicious fine noodles meal with 'lemongrass chicken, vegetables including beansprouts, onions, cilantro..! Really great! Delicious pork& shrimp spring rolls.
