“Tonight my wife and I had a reservation elsewhere and were left standing waiting for a table for over 40 minutes, we decided to leave and go across the street to Bolo where we had an amazing meal. They sat us right away and we already had drinks in our hand by the time the other restaurant tried texting us to say our table was ready. Cevice, some skewers, a salad, bacala fritters, the chicken chicherones, and the beef. Everything was amazing. We definitely over ordered but were happy with everything we got. Good sangria too. Another great meal at Bolo. Will be back soon. Chef is great and so friendly. Really saved our night.“

“Ne and my son love their Birrira tacos we tried the place in South Philly and didn't like them so we tried this place fell in love everything was good so we stayed with this place. So I got tacos for my Birthday yesterday and when we started to eat and dip in the consume it tasted funny it was oil it wasn't broth, I was gonna let it go but I was really disappointed I called and told them my issue and they were simply the best the offered to give me a new order but I was already home without a ride so I declined the offer, when I say they called me back 10min later and took my name for a future replacement I was shocked. I think it was really a professional and respectful way to make it right I love this place. If in the area try them out.“

“There were nine of us who dined there last night and we 100% agreed that the reviews are spot on. I got the Mexican Style grilled shrimp tacos and they absolutely slapped. We got the Latinas Bites for our app and finished off the night with the Dolce Quesadilla and Xangos for dessert, which were both uniquely and indulgently sweet. During dessert, I had pointed out that you'll know how good the food is because nobody's talking and everybody's eating. The first bite was as savory and delicious as the last and you must be prepared to bring food home. If you're familiar with the 7 Elements of Taste, this is definitely the place for you. I'll easily give Latinas a 9/10 and I will definitely be back, since there's so many more things I want to try.
Dietary restrictions: They have both flour and corn tortillas for those who have a gluten sensitivity. Make sure to ask about what's gluten free.
Kid-friendliness: There is a section of the menu dedicated to kids, so they definitely have some options.“

“Hidden gem! Don’t let their location intimidate you. I go here at least once a week! Their beef and cheese empanadas with a passion fruit drink! Spot on fire and fresh. They have a lot of different options on the empanadas. I’ve tried most of them and can’t complain. The staff super friendly and your order is out fast.“

“I love this place they have any Hispanic snacks you could think of they have gone a long way before it was just snack and then food like hot dogs and pupusas and ramen I haven’t tried the pupusas but I bet their so good I always get their hot Cheeto corn I love it service is good the place is very well decorated and the food is out in 10-20 minutes“

“Food is always good, reasonably priced. Portion size on point and place consistently clean. Only had 1 time where I was thrown back that for salmon, it increased that platter cost to $18. Other than that, I will continue to order from this place. Street parking could be a hit or miss.“

“Our waiter was friendly and madw sure to check on us frequently. Our food was received quicker than I expected. The jerk wings NEVER miss. They're absolutely delicious. I was a lillte disappointed by the "spiked" lemonade as it didnt seem to contain any alcohol. Overall I enjoyed my experience and would recommend the restaurant to others.“

“My family loved the food. We ordered four pupusas with beans and cheese, four more of those with cheese and loroco, guacamole, and maduros. The generous portions made it enough for two adults and two little kids, and we had leftovers too! My only complaint is that they only have their stuffed plantains available in the morning.“

“This place is now called El Sabor de Baro, and it's 100% better than the crap restaurants that used to be on the same premises. Please go and try the baro seasoning and I assure you that you will not regret it. Especially the stewed tail and the steak. Tastyoooooooo“

“I got the traditional cubano sandwich today and it was absolutely amazing. The bread it was on was wonderful and the meat was so tender! I highly recommend it!“
