“I love Mixto. Great food, great service. We love coming here to sit outside, but it is equally beautiful inside. It was decorated for the holidays a few days ago, and it was beautiful. I also enjoy the iPad menus, they are very user friendly. The food is always wonderful and they are happy to make substitutions if needed to accommodate dietary restrictions.“

“I chose to celebrate my birthday with brunch at Mamajuana based off of the social media posts I noticed on IG. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. My birthday brunch experience was amazing. The ambiance and energy were perfect. This is the exact vibe I was going for to celebrate my birthday. The service was great and I tried something different in terms of food which was also tasty. I highly recommend based off of my experience and would definitely return again. Shout out to Judy my hostess/server who was very attentive!“

“GREEDY!!!! The food was absolutely delicious! Boricua approved! 2 stars because you charge a 3% surcharge on credit cards for a company owned restaurant that already owns two bars in the city!!! That's not cool!!! That's so greedy for a $400 visit! Not cool, do better. You want people to come back here you get rid of that. Don't be those people.“

“Hands-down, one of my new favorite restaurants! My boyfriend and I went to last night for New Year’s and the staff there was insanely amazing and kind and thoughtful and generous. My boyfriend had a medical emergency which resulted in us having to leave via ambulance and the staff there just handled it was so much grace. I can’t believe I’ve never been before but I will 100% be going back again and again and again! You guys are amazing and we are forever grateful!“

“Jackie and the team there are Awesome as well as the owners me and my Daughters come here often we love their food! Literally a couple minutes after walking out the store the bottom of my bag ripped all my delicious food was just sitting on the ground I could cry I called Jackie rite away to tell her what had happened now I know it was not their fault or responsibility but I didn’t know what else to do I called Jackie and she went out here way to accommodate me as best she could! And called me back telling me I could come pick my food up I am so grateful to her because she didn’t have to do anything!!!! Go support Mr. Platano I’m a forever customer Now cause they really value they customers and they showed me that today! Happy Customer 🙂“

“I stopped by this little spot for a quick bite and ended up blown away! I ordered the grilled chicken wrap, veggie fritters, and a side of fries — everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy and seasoned just right, easily some of the best I’ve had in the area. The fritters were crisp on the outside and soft inside — absolutely delicious! The staff was super friendly, quick with service, and the place was spotless. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. This has definitely become my new go-to food stop — highly recommend!“

“My family loved the food. We ordered four pupusas with beans and cheese, four more of those with cheese and loroco, guacamole, and maduros. The generous portions made it enough for two adults and two little kids, and we had leftovers too! My only complaint is that they only have their stuffed plantains available in the morning.“

“I love this place they have any Hispanic snacks you could think of they have gone a long way before it was just snack and then food like hot dogs and pupusas and ramen I haven’t tried the pupusas but I bet their so good I always get their hot Cheeto corn I love it service is good the place is very well decorated and the food is out in 10-20 minutes“

“Food is always good, reasonably priced. Portion size on point and place consistently clean. Only had 1 time where I was thrown back that for salmon, it increased that platter cost to $18. Other than that, I will continue to order from this place. Street parking could be a hit or miss.“
